1、 Product Introduction
HTDM seriesEthane ethanol tuning fork densitometerIt is a very intelligent online density and concentration instrument that requires a solid and reliable direct insertion type instrument, which can provide integrated 'plug and play, maintenance free' density measurement. Widely applicable for medium density detection in pipelines, open tank containers, and closed tank containers. The fluid density directly depends on the vibration frequency received by the tuning fork when the sensor is inserted into the medium. The sensor is equipped with a built-in temperature sensor to provide temperature compensation.
The tuning fork densitometer is suitable for many industries, including the petrochemical industry, brewing industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, and mineral processing (such as clay, carbonate, silicate, etc.). It is specifically used for interface detection in multi product pipelines, density detection of mixed mixtures, endpoint monitoring of reaction vessels, and interface detection of separators in these industries.

2、 The working principle is as follows
HTDM seriesEthane ethanol tuning fork densitometerThe working principle of is based on the principle of component vibration, where the component part is a tuning fork immersed in the measured liquid. The tuning fork part induces vibration through an internal piezoelectric device fixed at one end of the fork body. The oscillation frequency is detected by a secondary piezoelectric device fixed at the other end of the fork, and the signal is amplified through the top circuit. The liquid concentration is closely related to the vibration frequency of the measured liquid. When the concentration of the measured liquid changes, the vibration frequency of the liquid flow also changes accordingly. The concentration of the measured liquid can be accurately calculated using the following equation.
D= K0+K1T+K2T2
D=uncalibrated concentration of the measured medium (0-100%)
T=vibration frequency (μ s)
K0, K1, K2=constants
3、 Product Features and Advantages
(1) The tuning fork densitometer can continuously measure the density of the medium in pipelines and storage tanks in real time, without the need for a specific height difference in liquid level, and the selection of measurement points is more flexible;
(2) The structure is simple, without throttling elements, the pressure loss of the piping system is almost zero, and for highly corrosive media, the material selection is more extensive and economical;
(3) Easy to install, plug and play, maintenance free;
(4) Can measure the density of mixed media containing solids or bubbles;
(5) The online tuning fork densitometer adopts the acoustic resonance method, which can measure substances with high precision, achieving an accuracy of 0.0005g/cm ³;

6、 Installation precautions for tuning fork densitometer
Due to the requirements of the manufacturing process, tuning fork density meters are often installed in sites with harsh working conditions. To minimize the severity of working conditions for density sensors, please note the following:
1. The tuning fork densitometer should be installed as much as possible in places with small temperature gradients and temperature changes, without impact and vibration.
2. The measured medium must not freeze, otherwise it will damage the sensing element and cause damage to the tuning fork densitometer.
3. Prevent contact with corrosive or overheated test media.
4. To prevent sediment from settling inside the tank.
5. Handle with care to prevent damaging the tuning fork densitometer.
6. It is prohibited to directly drop the instrument, operate the instrument above the rated pressure, and conduct pressure testing beyond the test pressure.
7. It should be noted that the instrument is suitable for all explosion-proof applications. It is prohibited to weld pipes during the installation of the tuning fork densitometer.
