Emergency cut-off solenoid valve (normally open type) is used in conjunction with monitoring instruments. When the instrument detects a combustible gas leak, it automatically and quickly closes the valve, cuts off the supply of gas, and promptly prevents the occurrence of malignant accidents. This valve is suitable for gas supply to gas pipelines, gas thermal workshops, gas boiler rooms, and residential buildings.

Structural principle:

In normal working conditions, the coil (4) is in a normally open state and in a power-off state, without consuming electrical energy. When a leakage accident occurs, the coil (4) is instantly energized, the moving iron core (3) is attracted, and the connecting rod (2) loses support. Under the action of the spring (5) and piston (6) gravity, the main valve (7) is quickly closed, the gas element is cut off, and it enters a self-locking state. At this point, when the power is removed, the valve remains closed and will not automatically open. When the staff completes the accident, unscrew the dust cover (1), and the coil is out of power, the pull rod (2) needs to be manually lowered and pulled up to restore gas supply.

Installation and maintenance:
1. Due to the fact that the piston of the emergency cut-off solenoid valve is reset by gravity and spring, the flow direction of the medium is horizontal during installation, and the pull rod is vertical at the upper end. It is strictly prohibited to invert or tilt it!
2. It is recommended to install a manual gate valve in front of the emergency shut-off solenoid valve to facilitate maintenance of the emergency shut-off valve.
3. Install a rain shelter on top of the emergency shut-off valve to prevent it from getting wet.
4. It is recommended to operate the emergency shut-off valve once a month and keep it in good working condition at all times.
5. Do not forcefully hit the reset lever.
6. It is strictly prohibited to dismantle the emergency shut-off valve without authorization, and it must be inspected by gas technicians.
