External clamp ultrasonic flowmeter is specifically designed for pipelines. It is mainly used for testing flow data in pipelines, ensuring accurate measurement data when the pipeline is full. It can measure various liquid fluid media, such as drinking water, river water, seawater, groundwater cooling water, high-temperature water, sewage, lubricating oil, diesel, fuel chemical liquids, and other homogeneous fluids
External clamp ultrasonic flowmeter pipeline specificThe external clamp type ultrasonic flowmeter series mainly measures the liquid flow rate of full pipes, and can measure media such as drinking water, river water, seawater, groundwater cooling water, high-temperature water, sewage, lubricating oil, diesel, fuel chemical liquids, and other homogeneous fluids.
External clamp ultrasonic flowmeter pipeline specificInstallation of:
1. When measuring pipelines, when encountering painted or galvanized pipelines, the surface of the pipeline can be treated with coarse yarn first, and then continued with fine yarn to ensure that the installation point of the flow sensor of the ultrasonic flowmeter is smooth and flat, and the flow probe of the ultrasonic flowmeter can make good contact with the outer wall of the measured pipeline.
2. When the pipeline runs vertically upwards, if the fluid inside the pipeline flows from bottom to top, it can be measured. However, if the liquid flows from top to bottom, this pipeline is not suitable for flow data collection.
3. Before collecting flow data from a certain pipeline, it is necessary to measure the outer circumference of the pipeline (using a tape measure), wall thickness (using a thickness gauge), and temperature of the outer wall of the pipeline (using a surface temperature measuring instrument) by oneself.
4. Remove the insulation layer and protective layer inside the installation section, and polish the transducer clean according to the wall surface of the installation location. Avoid local depressions, smooth out protrusions, and polish off the paint rust layer.
5. For vertically arranged pipelines, if it is a monaural propagation time instrument, the installation position of the sensor should be as close as possible to the bending axis plane of the upstream bend to obtain an average value that is closer to the flow field distortion of the bend.
6. The sensor installation and pipe wall reflection of the ultrasonic flowmeter must avoid interfaces and welds.
7. The pipeline lining and scale layer at the installation site of the ultrasonic flowmeter sensor should not be too thick. There should be no gaps between the lining, rust layer, and pipe wall. For severely corroded pipelines, a hammer can be used to shake the pipe wall to remove the rust layer and ensure the normal propagation of sound waves. But care must be taken to prevent hitting dents.
8. There should be sufficient coupling agent between the sensor working surface and the pipe wall, without air or solid particles, to ensure good coupling.
