1、 Scope of application:

The flammability testing machine for building materials is suitable for determining whether building materials have flammability testing methods under specified conditions.

2、 Compliant with standards:

The flammability testing machine for building materials complies with the testing standard GB/T8626-2007 "Methods for flammability testing of building materials".

3、 Main parameters:

1. Complete configuration: This testing machine consists of a control box, combustion box body, burner, solenoid valve, high-pressure igniter, signal control line, and sample holder.

2. Combustion box: Made of stainless steel plate and equipped with heat-resistant glass doors, it is convenient for testing and observation from the front and one side of the box. The combustion box is naturally ventilated through a square box at the bottom of the box, which is made of stainless steel with a thickness of 1.5mm, a height of 50mm, and an open area of 25mm × 25mm.

To achieve natural ventilation, the box is placed on a 40mm high support to create a ventilation air gap at the bottom of the box.

The air gap between the two supports on the front of the box should be sealed. Under the condition of only igniting the burner and opening the exhaust hood, the measured air flow velocity in the box flue should be (0.7 ± 0.1) m/s. The combustion chamber should be placed under a suitable exhaust hood.

3. Burner:

3.1 Installed on a horizontal steel plate, it can be used vertically or at a 45 ° angle to the vertical axis. And it can move smoothly back and forth along the centerline direction of the combustion box.

3.2 Specification: It consists of a nozzle with a diameter of ¢ 0.17mm and a regulating valve, and is equipped with four ¢ 4mm air suction holes.

3.3 There is a fine-tuning valve installed to adjust the flame height.

4. Gas: Commercial propane with a purity of ≥ 95%. In order to maintain flame stability in the 45 º angle direction of the burner, the gas pressure can be adjusted within the range of 10kpa~50kPa.

5. Sample clamp: Composed of two U-shaped stainless steel frames, 15mm wide and (5 ± 1) mm thick. The frames are vertically suspended on the hanging rod so that the centerline and edge of the bottom of the sample can be directly exposed to fire.

To avoid sample skewing, clamp the two sample frames tightly with screws or fixtures. The fixed method used ensures that the specimen will not move throughout the entire testing process.

6. Special sample holder: The sample frame consists of two stainless steel U-shaped frames with a width of (20 ± 1) mm and a thickness of (5 ± 1) mm.

7. Hanging rod: fixed on a vertical column (pillar) to allow the specimen clamp to hang vertically and the burner flame to act on the specimen.

For the edge ignition method and surface ignition method, the distance between the bottom of the specimen and the top of the horizontal steel plate on the metal mesh should be (125 ± 10) mm and (85 ± 10) mm, respectively.

8. Sample template: consists of two metal plates, one of which is 250mm long and 90mm wide, and the other is 250mm long and 180mm wide.

9. Flame inspection device:

9.1 Flame height measurement tool: Starting from a fixed point on the burner, it can measure a flame height of 20mm with a deviation of ± 0.1mm.

9.2 Ignition locator for edge ignition: A 16mm long withdrawable locator that can be inserted into the burner nozzle to determine the distance from the contact point of the pre-set flame on the sample.

9.3 Ignition locator for surface ignition: an extraction cone locator that can be inserted into the burner to determine the distance between the front edge of the burner and the surface of the sample to be 5mm.

10. Timer: capable of continuously recording time and displaying up to seconds, with a range of 0~99.99 seconds and an accuracy of ≤ 1 second/h.

11. Anemometer: with an accuracy of ± 0.1m/s, used to measure the air flow velocity at the top outlet of the combustion chamber.

12. Filter paper and collection tray:

12.1 Filter paper: Unpigmented brand new filter paper with a surface density of 60kg/m2 and an ash content of less than 0.1%.

12.2 Collection tray: A collection tray made of aluminum foil paper, 100mm × 50mm, 10mm deep. The collection tray is placed directly below the sample and should be replaced after each test.

13. Flame release time: 0~99 minutes and 99 seconds can be set.

14. Holding time: 0~99 minutes and 99 seconds can be set.

15. Flame height: 20 ± 2mm.

16. Ignition system: High voltage electronic ignition, automatic ignition, reset.

17. Exhaust hood: located above the combustion chamber, suitable for combustion use.

18. Power supply voltage: AC220V ± 10%, 50Hz.

4、 Equipment structure:

The structure of this machine consists of a combustion box and a control box.

2. Combustion chamber size: L700 * W400 * H810 (mm).

3. Chassis material: The combustion chamber is made of high-quality (t=1.5mm) 304 stainless steel plate, processed and formed by CNC machine tools, with a beautiful and elegant circular arc shape and a stainless steel square box body.

4. The control box is made of high-quality (t=1.5mm) electrostatic steel plate.

5. Spray nozzle: Made by our company, made of brass material, fully compliant with the requirements of GB/T8626 standard.

6. Other mechanical parts are made of 304 stainless steel or A3 material with thickened electroplating for corrosion and rust prevention.

7. Adopting board and microcomputer control, it has the advantages of reasonable structure, stable performance, and easy operation.
