The function of the fire stabilizing pump is to take water from the pool and deliver it to the system to maintain system pressure. It is called a "constant high pressure" or "stable high pressure" or "quasi high pressure" system and does not have a high-level fire water tank. The stabilizing pump of the "stable high pressure" fire water supply system must be maintained in normal operation to maintain the pressure of the pipeline network. In the event of a fire, it should still be able to operate for a period of time until the main fire pump is started. The stabilizing pump must be set up according to the main and backup pumps. Due to the need to keep the stabilizing pump running continuously, which wastes energy, and the high requirements for its service life due to the long-term operation of the stabilizing pump, this method is no longer effective in engineering
Function of fire stabilizing pump
Overview of raw materials
The pressure tanks are all set according to the capacity requirements of "small tanks". The effective volume of the fire pressure water tank is 300L for the fire hydrant system, 150L for the automatic sprinkler system, and 450L if the two systems are used together. This type of pressure water supply device can still maintain system pressure within 30 seconds when the stabilizing pump fails. Moreover, when the system working pressure drops to the set pressure of the main fire pump, a signal to start the main fire pump can be generated in a timely manner. The fault has little impact on the safety of the system's water supply. Even in such cases, the high-level water tank can still fulfill the task of supplying water to the system, but the water pressure at unfavorable positions of the system is affected. The workflow of this method is roughly as follows: the pressure of the pneumatic water tank is provided by the stabilizing pump. When the pressure of the pneumatic water tank reaches the set requirement, the stabilizing pump stops. The pressure of the pipeline network is usually provided by the pneumatic water tank to meet the water pressure and volume requirements of the system. When the system pressure drops to a certain set level, the stabilizing pump starts to replenish the system pressure before stopping.

Function of fire stabilizing pump
1. When the fire pump unit is used in suction applications, that is, when the inlet is under negative pressure, water should be filled into the pipeline or a vacuum pump should be used to draw water, so that the entire pump and inlet pipeline are filled with water. Note that the inlet pipeline must be sealed and there must be no air leakage. (It is strictly prohibited to start without water before starting. Water must be added first before starting.)
2. Close the gate valve and pressure gauge plug on the outlet pipe to reduce the starting current.
3. Rotate the rotor a few times by hand to lubricate the bearings and check for any friction between the impeller and sealing ring inside the pump. If it cannot be turned, it should not be started until the cause of the fault is identified.
4. Test start, the motor direction should be aligned with the arrow on the pump pointing to *, and open the gauge plug.
5. When the rotor reaches normal operation and the pressure gauge displays pressure, gradually open the outlet gate valve and adjust it to the desired working condition.
