The GL/RL/FL series glass rotor flowmeter produced by Changzhou Liangbang Instruments adopts German production technology. When installing a glass rotor flowmeter, the following points should be noted:

1. When receiving the glass rotor flowmeter, first observeGlass rotor flowmeterIs the glass tube inside intact, as glass tubes are prone to damage. Next is to remove the fixed object and gently tilt it to see if the rotor can slide freely up and down. If it cannot slide freely, gently vibrate the support plate so that it can generally slide. If it can no longer slide, professional technicians need to dismantle the machine to solve the problem.

2. When installing on a pipeline, the first thing to consider is whether the downstream pipeline is in a straight line. If it is not on a straight line, it will not only affect the measurement accuracy of the instrument, but also damage the instrument.

3. After ensuring that the first two points are correct, you can start using them. The operator should read the instruction manual carefully before use. When opening the valve, be sure to slowly open it. If it is estimated that the flow can float the rotor but the rotor does not move upward, stop immediately and continue opening the valve. At the same time, gently tap the pipeline to allow the rotor to slowly rise. Many operators opened the valve too forcefully, causing damage to the glass tube inside the glass rotor flowmeter when they installed new equipment. This should be noted by users.

4. The glass rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically on a vibration free pipeline. The fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the verticality is better than 2 °. When installed horizontally, the horizontal angle is better than 2 °;

5. For the convenience of maintenance, replacement of flow meters, and cleaning of measuring pipelines, metal tube float flow meters installed on process pipelines should be equipped with bypass pipelines and bypass valves;

6. There should be a straight pipe section of at least 5 times the diameter at the mouth of the glass rotor flowmeter, and a 250mm straight pipe section at the outlet;

7. If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed; If the medium contains solid impurities, it should be considered to install a filter between the valve and the straight pipe section;

8. When used for gas measurement, it should be ensured that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter to ensure stable operation of the float;

9. In order to avoid deformation of the flow meter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial and parallel to the flange of the flow meter. The pipeline support should be used to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flow meter. The control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flow meter:

10. When measuring gas, if the gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere at the outlet of the flowmeter, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, otherwise a pressure drop will occur at the float, causing data distortion.

11. When installing instruments with PTFE lining, do not tighten the flange nuts asymmetrically at will to avoid deformation of the PTEF lining;

12. Instruments with LCD displays should avoid direct sunlight on the display as much as possible to avoid reducing the lifespan of the LCD; Instruments powered by lithium batteries should avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments (≥ 65 ℃) as much as possible to avoid reducing the capacity and lifespan of the lithium battery.
