Explosion proof pipeline flame arrester, also known as pipeline flame arrester, is a safety device used to prevent the flame of flammable gases and flammable liquid vapors from spreading outward. The function of a flame arrester is to prevent external flames from entering equipment or pipelines containing flammable and explosive gases, or to prevent flames from spreading between equipment and pipelines. It is designed and manufactured based on the principle that flames extinguish due to heat loss when passing through narrow pores of a thermal conductor. The explosion-proof flame arrester has qualified explosion-proof performance, and has been tested for 13 consecutive explosion-proof performance tests, each time being able to prevent ignition. The fire resistance performance is qualified, and there is no tempering phenomenon after 1 hour of fire resistance test. The shell water pressure test is qualified. Maintenance method for GZW-1 type flame arrester (carbon steel | stainless steel) in explosion-proof pipeline
1. The pipeline flame arrester should be inspected every six months to check for defects such as blockage, deformation, or corrosion in the flame retardant layer.
2. The blocked flame retardant layer should be cleaned thoroughly to ensure that each hole is unobstructed, and any deformed or corroded flame retardant layer should be replaced.
When cleaning the flame arrester core components, high-pressure steam, non corrosive solvents, or compressed air should be used for blowing, and sharp hardware brushing should not be used.
When reinstalling the flame arrester, the gasket should be updated and the sealing surface should be confirmed to be clean and undamaged, without any air leakage.
