The core part of a pressure transmitter is the pressure measuring element, which converts the existing pressure into an electrical signal. This pressure related signal is converted into a regular output signal by integrated electronic components. The sensor element on VEGABAR 39 is a fully welded metal measuring element with a stainless steel diaphragm. For measurement ranges up to 100 bar, a pressure resistant sensor element with internal liquid delivery will be used. Starting from 250 bar, use a DMS (strain gauge) sensor element on the back of the stainless steel diaphragm. This dry system does not require additional chemical sealing devices for liquid during operation.
