Overview of HF-1 acetylene flame arrester products

The acetylene flame arrester is composed of a shell, a flame retardant layer, and a check device. The acetylene flame arrester is made of carbon steel or stainless steel. The flame arrester core is composed of two layers of ultra-thin stainless steel strips, one pressed into a wavy N shape, and the other flat steel strip tightly wrapped around the center of the circle, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. The acetylene flame arrester is installed on the fuel gas pipeline before the fuel gas enters the nozzle.

Working principle of HF-1 acetylene flame arrester

Acetylene flame arrester is used on gas pipelines of heating furnaces. It should be installed on the fuel gas pipeline before the fuel gas enters the nozzle to prevent misfires. When the nozzle is tempered, the metal mesh inside the flame arrester, check valve, and wall effect are converted into heat energy to extinguish the flame, preventing danger in the fuel gas pipeline caused by tempering.

Application of HF-1 acetylene flame arrester:
The acetylene flame arrester has a reasonable structure, is lightweight, and corrosion-resistant. Easy to maintain and install. The flame arrester core is made of stainless steel material, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. Suitable for combustible gas pipelines, such as gasoline, kerosene, light diesel, benzene, toluene, crude oil and other oil storage or flare systems, gas purification and chemical systems, gas analysis systems, coal mine gas emission systems, heating furnace fuel gas pipeline networks, and can also be used as pipeline supplies for acetylene, oxygen, nitrogen, natural gas, etc.

Characteristics of HF-1 acetylene flame arrester

1. This product is designed and manufactured based on the principle of quenching subsonic or supersonic flames propagating in pipelines using the narrow gap between metal corrugated plates.

2. This product is suitable for installation in pipelines that transport flammable gases such as heating furnace fuel gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and coal mine gas emissions, as well as in civilian gas pipelines.

3. Prevent the reverse propagation of flames in pipelines under abnormal conditions to avoid the occurrence of aviation accidents. This product has a safe flame retardant speed of 1425m/s and a limited flame retardant speed of 1605m/s.

Installation and maintenance of acetylene flame arrester

1. It should be checked every six months. Check whether the fire-resistant layer has defects such as blockage, deformation, or corrosion.

2. The flow direction markings on the flame arrester correspond to the flow direction of the medium.

3. When reinstalling the fire-resistant layer, the gasket should be updated and the sealing surface should be confirmed to be clean and undamaged, without any air leakage.

4. The blocked fire-resistant layer should be cleaned thoroughly to ensure that each hole is unobstructed, and any deformed or corroded fire-resistant layer should be replaced.

5. When cleaning the flame arrester core components, high-pressure steam, non corrosive solvents, or compressed air should be used for blowing, and sharp hardware brushes should not be used.

6. To ensure the performance of the flame arrester meets its intended use, carefully read the manufacturer's instructions before installing the flame arrester, and carefully check the label and the requirements of the installed pipeline.
