Handheld ultrasonic welding machine, also known as ultrasonic spot welding machine, can be used for welding thermoplastic materials. The welding head can be replaced according to different welding processes and is used for riveting, spot welding, implantation, cutting, etc.
1. The handheld ultrasonic welding machine consists of an ultrasonic generator, a welding head, and a housing (direct grip or pistol style).
2. Ultrasonic spot welding has significant advantages over traditional processes such as adhesive bonding, hot stamping, or screw fastening, including high production efficiency, good welding quality, environmental friendliness, and energy efficiency. Handheld ultrasonic welding machines can also be used for welding, riveting, and inlaying and edge pressing processes between metal and plastic parts of thermoplastic products. It has completely replaced the process of pasting organic melting point agents, and has the characteristics of low energy consumption, high efficiency, no deformation, no pollution, firm welding, and easy operation.
Ultrasonic waves can not only be used for welding metals and hard thermoplastic plastics, but also for processing fabrics and films. 6. The ultrasonic welding machine converts 50/60HZ current into high-frequency alternating current through an ultrasonic generator, and inputs this electrical energy into an ultrasonic transducer to generate mechanical motion of the same frequency. The mechanical motion is transmitted to the ultrasonic welding head through the amplitude modulator device, and the welding head transfers the received vibration energy to the joint of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, energy is converted into heat energy through friction, melting the plastic.
The brief pressure maintained on the workpiece after the vibration stops causes the two welded parts to solidify into one through molecular linkage. Generally, the welding time is less than 1 second, and the welding strength obtained can be comparable to that of the body.
7. Usage method
Step 1: Connect one end of the cable to the output control cable connector on the vibrating tube, and the other end to the output control cable socket on the back of the electrical box, and tighten it.
Step 2: Clean the connection surface of the welding head, connect it to the transducer of the vibrating tube, and lock it with a wrench. Attention: When connecting, it is necessary to ensure that the two connection surfaces between the welding head and the transducer are aligned and locked. Do not cause damage to the machine due to the phenomenon of connecting screws being too long or loose teeth that cannot be locked, otherwise it will result in poor sound wave transmission.
Step 3: When loading and unloading the welding head, two wrenches must be used to clamp the welding and transducer separately. It is not allowed to lock or load only one part to avoid damage to the handheld vibrating tube.
Step 4: After checking that points 1 and 2 are installed properly, plug the power cord socket into an external power outlet and turn the power switch. At this point, the power indicator light will turn on.
Step 5: Lightly press the sound wave control switch. At this point, you can hear the "squeaking" sound emitted by the welding head when the sound wave is transmitted to it, indicating that the machine is working properly and can be put into use.
Step 6: When the machine malfunctions during operation, do not disassemble the equipment without authorization. Please notify the supplier or send the equipment to the manufacturer for inspection and repair.
