The heavy hammer level gauge consists of a sensor and a control display. The design of the sensor absorbs the advantages of similar products at home and abroad, with reliable operation, low maintenance, and wide application range; The control display adopts a 16 bit microcontroller, which controls the entire detection process of the sensor through the program and detects its signal for calculation. The material level number is displayed in the display window on the panel, and there is a corresponding 4-20mA analog current signal output. The measurement can be automatically timed or manually measured.

The detection process of the level gauge sensor installed at the top of the silo is controlled by the signal emitted by the control display instrument. Sensors are composed of reversible motors, sensitive levers, etc. When the sensor receives a detection command: the motor rotates forward, and after deceleration, it drives the winding drum to rotate, lowering the steel wire rope and driving the heavy hammer to descend from the top of the warehouse. When the heavy hammer descends to the material surface and is lifted by the material surface, it loses weight. The steel wire rope relaxes, and the sensitive lever action makes the micro switch contact. The control display immediately sends a motor reverse command when it receives this signal. The heavy hammer rises and returns until the winding drum touches the top switch, and the motor stops rotating. The heavy hammer returns to its original position at the top of the warehouse, completing a detection process. During this process, the control display instrument calculates the distance between the heavy hammer and the material surface by detecting the number of revolutions of the winding drum, displays it digitally on the panel, and outputs 4 on the rear panel terminal20mA current signal.
