The reason why small flow meters are called "oil meters" is that they are often used for flow measurement of petroleum and related products. These types of flow meters are usually exquisitely designed and can be used for accurate detection of small flow rates, meeting the need for precise flow control in complex systems.

4、 Common faults and solutions of circular gear flowmeter
(1) Fault phenomenon: [Normal liquid flow but no display on the instrument]
Cause analysis: The power supply is not connected or there is a wiring error between the sensor and the instrument, or there are faults such as open circuit, short circuit, poor contact, etc.
The preamplifier is faulty or the gear is stuck.
Elimination method:
1. Connect the power or check if the wiring is correct, and use a multimeter to troubleshoot the problem.
2. Check the preamplifier.
3. Remove foreign objects and clean or replace gears. Gear replacement should be rechecked to obtain new instrument coefficients.
(2) Fault phenomenon: The liquid does not flow, the flow rate display is not zero, or the display value is unstable
Root cause analysis:
1. Poor grounding of transmission wire shielding, external interference signals mixed into the input terminal of the display instrument;
2. Pipeline vibration causes gears to vibrate and generate incorrect signals;
3. Interference caused by internal faults in the display instrument;
Elimination method:
1. Check if the grounding terminal of the shielding layer display instrument is well grounded
2. Reinforce pipelines or secure sensor screws
3. Repair the display instrument panel
