1、 Instrument Introduction:

The fixed wall mounted ultrasonic flowmeter has been completely redesigned from the circuit board to the software, using imported high-performance and low-power microcontrollers. Adhering to the excellent quality of the previous version, it has improved integration and reduced peripheral circuits. The new product has greatly improved measurement accuracy, stability, anti-interference ability, communication stability, and other aspects compared to the previous version of the ultrasonic flowmeter. It is a powerful, stable, and reliable flowmeter.

The ultrasonic flowmeter has multiple interfaces, such as 4-20mA current loop output, current loop input, 485 digital communication interface, OCT frequency output, and two PT100 interfaces, which can be easily connected to PLC, GPRS communication modules, etc., to achieve wired and wireless monitoring.

There is not much difference in the hardware and software of various models of ultrasonic flow meters, with different packaging forms and slightly different input and output ports. The host can be matched with any type of sensor, including external, plug-in, or pipe segment sensors. External and plug-in sensors can be installed online without the need for disconnection or interruption.

The fixed wall mounted ultrasonic flowmeter utilizes the principle of low voltage and multi pulse time difference, and adopts high-precision and ultra stable dual balanced signal differential transmission and differential reception digital detection technology to measure the sound wave transmission time in the forward and reverse directions, and calculate the flow velocity based on the time difference.

When the ultrasonic beam propagates in a liquid, the flow of the liquid will cause a slight change in propagation time, which is proportional to the flow velocity of the liquid. At zero flow rate, the time required for both sensors to emit and receive sound waves is the same (* technology that can actually measure zero flow rate); When the medium flows, the transmission time of sound waves in the reverse direction is greater than that in the water flow direction.

7、 Cable:

The model is SEYV75-2 shielded type, and a single cable can be extended up to 500 meters. At the same time, be careful not to run parallel with high-voltage cables and try to avoid frequency converters.

8、 Pipeline:

1. Pipe materials: steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cement pipe, copper PVC、 All dense pipelines such as aluminum and fiberglass are allowed to have lining;

11、 Installation steps for sensors:

1. Choose a location with sufficient straight pipe length, use new pipes, be rust free, and be easy to operate.

2. Remove debris and rust from the pipeline, and use a corner grinder to remove the rust.

3. Apply enough coupling agent (such as butter, Vaseline, etc.) on the emission surface of the sensor and apply coupling.

4. The purpose of the mixture is to eliminate air between the sensor emission surface and the outer surface of the pipeline.

5. Special reminder: Sand and debris should be avoided from entering this area.

6. There may be some bubbles remaining on the upper part of the inner wall of the horizontal pipeline. When installing on such a pipeline, it should be selected on the surface perpendicular to the side of the pipeline.

12、 Optional external sensor:

External tied sensor is an installation method that directly binds the sensor to the outer surface of the measured pipeline to achieve flow measurement. It has the characteristics of being independent of the pipe diameter, simple installation, no need to stop production, and no pressure loss.
