Overview
The high-precision automatic anti-interference dielectric loss tester is equipped with an excitation voltage provided by the machine, which is output by "CVT1" and "CVT2". Usually, when measuring C1, the low-voltage excitation voltage can reach 20V, and when measuring C2, the low-voltage excitation current can reach 15A. Generally, a high-voltage voltage of 1.5-2kV can be set.
Product Details

High precision automatic anti-interference dielectric loss testerpurpose

Suitable for measuring the TG δ and capacitance of high-voltage electrical equipment in workshops, laboratories, and research institutions; Equipped with an insulating oil cup, the dielectric loss of the insulating oil can be tested. Under the action of AC voltage, the dielectric consumes some electrical energy, which will be converted into heat energy to generate losses. This type of energy loss is called dielectric loss. When an AC voltage is applied to a dielectric, there exists a phase angle difference between the voltage and current in the dielectric. The residual angle δ of PSI is called the dielectric loss angle, and the tangent tg δ of δ is called the dielectric loss angle tangent. The TG δ value is a parameter used to measure the dielectric loss. The instrument measurement circuit includes a standard circuit (Cn) and a test circuit (Cx). The standard circuit consists of a built-in high stability standard capacitor and a measurement circuit, while the test circuit consists of the test sample and the measurement circuit.

High precision automatic anti-interference dielectric loss testerThe display data for forward/reverse wiring is as follows:
The instrument automatically distinguishes between capacitive, inductive, and resistive samples: capacitive samples display Cx and tg δ; Inductive samples display Lx; resistive samples display Rx and additional Cx or Lx. Automatically select display units.

Instructions for Use

3.1 Contrast Adjustment
The contrast of the LCD screen has been calibrated at the factory. If you feel that it is not clear enough, you can adjust it using the following methods:
Press and hold ↑ or ↓ without moving, then turn on the main power switch, and press ↑ or ↓ to adjust the display contrast. After adjustment, press the "OK" button to exit.
3.2 Enter Menu
After turning on the main power switch, the startup screen will first be displayed:

Then automatically enter the measurement menu.

3.3 Choose wiring method
The cursor is in the "forward" position, press ↑↓ to select the "forward", "reverse", and "CVT" measurement methods.

3.4 Selecting internal and external standard capacitors
The cursor is in ②, press ↑↓ to select "Internal Standard" and "External Standard", indicating the use of internal or external standard capacitors. Usually, internal standards can be used for positive and negative wiring measurement and CVT self-excited measurement. For high voltage dielectric loss, external standard methods are used, and external capacitance parameters need to be incorporated into the instrument. The cursor is on "Outer CN". Press and hold the "Start Stop" button for more than 1 second to display the outer standard capacitance value. Press the ↑↓ keys to modify this value. After modification, press and hold the "start stop" button for about 1 second. When you hear the buzzer sound, release the keyboard to save.

3.5 Selection of Test Frequency
3.5.1 Default startup frequency
The cursor is on "frequency conversion", indicating automatic frequency conversion at 45/55Hz. The instrument automatically measures once at 45Hz and once at 55Hz, and then calculates the data without interference at 50Hz. The default mode for automatic startup is this, it is recommended to use it.
