The DC side metering of energy storage power stations is a key link in ensuring the safe, efficient, and economical operation of power stations. Its necessity is reflected in multiple dimensions, which not only relates to the daily operation and maintenance of power stations, but also affects power grid coordination, cost accounting, and policy compliance.

1、 Ensure the safe operation of the battery system

Real time monitoring of battery statusThe charging and discharging process of energy storage batteries (such as lithium batteries) is mainly completed on the DC side, and abnormal parameters such as voltage, current, and power may indicate the risk of overcharging, overdischarging, short circuit, or thermal runaway of the battery. DC side metering can capture these parameters in real time, providing data support for BMS (Battery Management System), triggering protection mechanisms in a timely manner (such as cutting off circuits), and avoiding safety accidents.
