1.1 Overview

The comprehensive monitoring platform for substation auxiliary control system is an independently developed integrated multi system networking platform based on SOA system architecture. From a technical structure perspective, it can be mainly divided into the following levels:

1) Basic access layer

Encapsulation of operating systems, databases, secure encryption, device access, and multimedia protocols, shielding differences, compatible with various heterogeneous hardware from multiple vendors, types, and protocols, achieving platform independence for upper layer applications, improving operational efficiency and system compatibility.

2) Platform service layer

In addition to providing authorization authentication, device management, alarm management, data collection, device control, streaming media forwarding services, storage services, linkage services, etc., the platform service layer also provides third-party system access services and platform interconnection management services, supporting platform interconnection and intercommunication.

3) Business layer

By summarizing and encapsulating commonly used businesses, RESTful API interfaces such as video, alarm, device control, data collection, query statistics, and system management are provided for easy access by the presentation layer and third-party systems.

4) Display layer

By calling various service interfaces provided by the business layer through API interfaces, specific functions are presented to end users.

2.2 Platform composition

1) Central management service

As the carrier service of the cloud platform, it is the core component of the entire system and can provide unified authentication, authorization, and management services. As a management server, it centrally configures and manages users, roles, permissions, and video surveillance devices within the system; As an application server, we provide various security monitoring services and offer comprehensive log management and auditing functions.

2) Streaming media services

Support the forwarding and distribution of real-time video data; Support playback and on-demand (VOD) for storing data; Support QoS management and make reasonable use of bandwidth; Support priority management for users and events; Support cascading and distributed deployment; Support statistical information related to video streaming.

3) Storage Services

Supports centralized cloud storage management mode and distributed storage mode for DVR storage; Support PB level massive audio and video data storage, fast retrieval, and intelligent post retrieval; Support flexible backup strategies.

4)alarm functionservice

alarm functionService is one of the core business modules of the platform, which centrally manages video alarms, power environment data alarms, alarm host alarms, access control alarms, fire alarms, and other triggered alarms.

alarm functionThe service can directly receive and process alarm events reported by the device, and can also analyze and confirm the status data collected from the device according to preset rules.

5)Device Proxy Service

Adopting a plugin mechanism to connect various devices, receive, transmit, and control various media signaling streams, simplify device access application development, provide standardized and unified interfaces for upper layers, and complete device configuration and control for lower layers.

According to the application scenario, it can be divided into two types: IO device proxy service and streaming media proxy service.

3、 Platform features

1) High reliability

The key services within the platform support deployment and operation in primary backup or multi primary mode, which can effectively prevent system abnormalities caused by hardware or network failures.

The high reliability of internal services on the platform adopts various mechanisms such as state monitoring, forced recovery, and service migration. All services exchange data based on the SOA message bus, and each service regularly reports its own operating status. The central management service is responsible for summarizing and monitoring the service operating status. Once an exception is detected, the abnormal service is immediately handled and other related services are notified to prepare for response. For abnormal services running in standalone mode, the relevant services will automatically resume docking after the restart is completed; For abnormal services running on multiple machines, relevant services choose to actively switch services. If the central management service fails to ensure the overall functioning of the system after multiple restarts of abnormal services, it will proactively restart the server.

All services within the platform have error detection and recovery mechanisms. In the event of service unavailability, database or network failure, the recovery mechanism can be automatically triggered to periodically attempt to restore normal status.

At the same time, the platform has specially designed a software watchdog service, which is responsible for monitoring the running status and handling exceptions of the central management service. The software watchdog service has a single function and is reliable on its own性高To ensure that the platform can achieve telecom grade 7 * 24-hour reliable operation and provide users with reliable services.

2) Good scalability

Adopting modular design, various services in the platform can run on one server or be distributed across multiple servers.

A certain business function in the system can be configured to be completed by a single instance of the service or shared by multiple instances. For example, the streaming service is responsible for connecting 1000 NVR devices, which can be configured on one server or two servers, with each server's streaming service instance responsible for connecting 500 devices.

3) High openness

Adopting a unified device access specification and plugin mechanism, differential shielding and overall integration of interfaces for various devices such as video, alarm, dynamic environment, fire protection, and access control are completed. New devices joining the platform only need to complete plugin development according to the interface specification, and can be integrated into the platform after configuration.

Open all business interfaces of the platform in the form of RESTful API, and combine them with SDK or controls to complete all the functions implemented by the client.

4) High degree of standardization

Adopting standard international norms and protocols can facilitate integration with other business systems and facilitate secondary development. The internal video equipment or system docking of the platform supports international or national standards such as ONVIF/GB-28181/State Grid B interface, and the docking of alarm, dynamic environment, fire protection equipment or systems supports international or national standards such as IEC 61850/IEC 104/MODBUS RTU/TCP.

5) Multi level platform cascading

A networking solution that meets the multi-level vertical management of large-scale systems, facilitating the establishment of multi-level management. The domain technology adopted by the platform enables cascading to be implemented from top to bottom, or from bottom to top for hierarchical networking, which can meet the construction mode of individual networking in each region and centralized networking at higher levels.

4、 Main functions

4.1 alarm linkage

The scope of application for alarm linkage includes perimeter alarm, access control alarm, motion detection alarm, temperature and humidity alarm, video alarm, equipment and server failure alarm, personnel positioning alarm, etc.

The platform supports multi camera video linkage for one point alarm, multi device control linkage, user deployment and disarming, manual alarm suppression, automatic deployment and disarming according to plan, setting alarm cancellation delay and other functions.

An alarm can automatically trigger a series of response actions:

1) Make an alarm prompt sound;

2) Pop up an alarm prompt window and notify users in real-time;

3) Live voice broadcasting;

4) Automatically switch to the corresponding camera video image, with preset positions automatically switched to preset positions, while monitoring the OSD overlay of alarm information on the screen;

5) Capture linkage captures camera video images through SMS ftp、 Upload to the server via email or other means;

6) Linkage control equipment, such as starting on-site lighting, sirens, fans, doors, etc;

7) Activate alarm recording to facilitate retrieval and playback of corresponding image recordings based on alarm information in the future;

4.1.1Common linkage plans

1) Security guard alarm linkage

By triggering intrusion alarms through electronic fences, infrared radiation, small animal detectors, etc., the video images are linked to capture and record, real-time alarm voice is played, linked alarm sirens sound warnings, and reminder messages are sent.

2) Environmental quantity alarm linkage

Temperature over limit alarm, the platform automatically controls the corresponding air conditioner to start cooling or heating through the connected air conditioning controller; If the humidity exceeds the limit alarm, the corresponding area's fan or dehumidifier will be linked for dehumidification, and a reminder message will be sent.

3) Hazardous gas linkage

After detecting excessive concentrations of harmful gases such as SF6, H2S, O3, CO, etc., the fan will be linked for ventilation and a reminder message will be sent.

4) Knife switch action video linkage

When the backend service detects the action signal of the knife switch, it actively turns on the corresponding lighting, automatically pops up the associated video, calls the preset position to rotate to the predetermined angle position, and watches the real-time closing status of the switch knife switch.
