The integrated water purification device includes eight main units: water distribution, reaction, sedimentation, filtration, water collection, sludge collection, and automatic backwashing. It is equipped with PPC inclined tube packing and various specifications of refined filter media. The main shell of the equipment is made of carbon steel, and the inside and outside are treated with special coatings for anti-corrosion. It has a long service life, a wide range of applications, excellent performance, and is widely used in the construction and renovation of large, medium, and small water companies (stations). This device has advanced technology, novel design, compact structure, saves area and investment, simple management, and easy operation. It can treat raw water turbidity of less than 3000mg/L (which can reach 3000mg/L in a short time), and effluent turbidity of not less than 3 mg/L. After chlorine disinfection, it can meet the national drinking water standard.

Working principle of integrated water purification equipment

The water purification system consists of a coagulation tank, sedimentation tank, filtration tank, water quality stabilization dosing device, backwashing device, water pump, and electrical control cabinet.

1. Coagulation tank: WTH pipeline static mixer is used to automatically mix coagulants through hydraulic mixing. The raw water with added coagulant enters the coagulation tank through the inlet pipe, and is mixed with a specially designed vortex reaction and coagulant to allow the suspended solids in the water to fully contact and react with the coagulant to form alum flowers. The general water purification device uses vortex reaction to mix water and coagulant, but the effect is unstable due to changes in water volume. Special mixers can also be used to stir, allowing suspended solids and coagulants in the water to fully contact and react to form alum flowers, without being affected by changes in water volume.

2. Sedimentation tank: The water is coagulated with a coagulant to form alum flowers, which flow into the sedimentation tank of the equipment for sedimentation. The sedimentation tank adopts the inclined tube sedimentation method with a surface load of 7-8m ³/㎡ · h. After sedimentation in the trapezoidal inclined plate sedimentation chamber, solid-liquid separation is completed, and the settled sludge is discharged into the sludge hopper

3. Filter tank: After sedimentation, the water flows into the filter tank for filtration. The bottom of the filter tank structure is a water distribution pipe, the middle is quartz sand, and the upper is white coal. The filtration rate is 7-10m/h, the flushing intensity is 14-16L/㎡. s, and the clean water flows into the clean water tank for disinfection before drinking. The backwash cycle of the filter tank is about 12 hours, and the backwash time is 5-10 minutes. The filtering part adopts polystyrene filter beads for filtration.

Performance advantages

1. The water purification device itself has achieved fully automatic operation through a series of operating procedures such as reaction, coagulation and sedimentation, water collection, water distribution, filtration, internal backwashing, and sludge discharge. The on duty personnel only need to monitor the water quality regularly and do not need to manage the operation of the water purification device.

2. The high concentration flocculation layer can allow impurity particles in the raw water to have sufficient collision contact, increase the probability of adsorption, and thus adapt to various water temperatures and turbidity of the raw water. The removal rate of impurity particles is high, and under the condition of adding algae removal agents, the algae removal function is good.

3. The rapid sludge concentration chamber and adjustable automatic sludge discharge system can ensure timely removal of excess sludge, thereby ensuring the removal rate of impurity particles.

4. Excellent flocculation and sedimentation effects ensure that the quality of the sedimentation effluent remains in good condition.

5. The novel and original water collection system and the saved water collection head make the water collection more uniform and effective, not only improving the volume utilization coefficient, but also minimizing the water collection head.

6. Automation of the water purification system ensures the filtration of the system (when the turbidity of the raw water is less than 3000mg/L, the turbidity of the filtered water can be maintained at around 5mg/L), and it can also automatically backwash without the need for additional electrical equipment such as backwash water pumps or air compressors. It also saves a lot of infrastructure investment and daily operation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep costs, and has a long service life.

7. The low self water consumption rate of the equipment (about 3%) plays a positive role in saving valuable water resources.

8. It has a small footprint and can save more than 50% of the floor area compared to general water purification structures. It is about 4.35 meters high and can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

9. Easy to expand, renovate, relocate, or relocate for reuse.

10. The infrastructure construction period is short, which is one fourth of the construction period of conventional clarification and filtration facilities.

11. The height of the purified water outlet should be ≥ 2m, and the clear water tank can be built as a semi above ground type. The clear water pump should be self-priming and operate more reliably.
