Vaisala DRYCAP ® The intelligent dew point and temperature probe DMP8 is designed for industrial low humidity applications with pressures not exceeding 40 bar. Typical applications include industrial drying, compressed air systems, and applications in the semiconductor industry.

The DMP8 itself comes with 1/2-inch NPT or ISO threaded bolts that can be adjusted for insertion depth. Using the optional ball valve installation kit, the probe can be inserted into or removed from the pressure pipeline under pressure.

The intelligent DMP8 belongs to the Indigo series products and is compatible with Indigo500 and Indigo200 transmitters. It can be used together with Vaisala Insight computer software to achieve data visualization, easy probe setup, and self calibration.

The intelligent DMP8 is designed for measuring dew point in low humidity pressurized pipelines in industrial applications.

The work pressure is 0 .. 4 MPa (0 ... 40 bar)。

Due to the use of sliding seal design, the installation depth of the probe can be easily adjusted. When using the ball valve installation kit, it is easy to insert or remove the probe from the pressurized process.

Rapid response time and stability at low dew point

Vaisala DRYCAP ® Sensors are not affected by particles, condensed water, oil mist, and most chemicals. This sensor is resistant to condensation and can still recover and function normally even in liquid water environments. The fast response time enables it to provide good performance in dynamic low dew point applications, and it has high stability, providing a longer calibration interval (two years).

Used independently or in conjunction with Indigo transmitters

The intelligent DMP8 belongs to the Vaisala Indigo series products, so it can also be used with the Vaisala Indigo200 transmitter. These transmitters also have other features, such as a display screen that visually displays data, easy access for probe settings, and more options for automation system connections, power supply voltage, and wiring.

The built-in RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol means that DMP8 can be used as a standalone device or easily integrated into third-party systems.

When using DMP8 independently or in conjunction with Indigo transmitters, it can be connected to Vaisala Insight software for easy on-site calibration, probe configuration, and device analysis.
