Introduction to Denver Intelligent Testing DDST:

DDST was developed by American psychologists W.K. Frankenberg and J.B. Doz in 1967. Suitable for children aged 0-6, with a total of 104 items, mainly measuring four major areas: gross motor skills, language, fine motor skills, adaptability, and personal and social behavior. Mainly used for intelligence screening. Early detection of the possibility of developmental delay or abnormalities in children. To provide a basis for prevention, in order to conduct further diagnostic examinations on suspicious individuals.
Chinese psychologists have made multiple revisions and standardized DDST since 1978.
In the past, pediatricians or pediatric health professionals often used paper scales to evaluate children using DDST. During the operation, the age of the children was calculated, the actual age was marked, and each item was tested item by item before manual scoring and evaluation.
