The UV fluorescence sulfur analyzer is a new generation of precision experimental instrument developed by combining the principle of UV fluorescence with computer technology.Total sulfur analyzer is widely used for detecting sulfur content in liquid, solid, or gas samples. The total sulfur content in the sample was rapidly determined by UV fluorescence method. The application of high-precision data acquisition cards and computer technology provides reliable guarantees for data acquisition, control, and processing.The instrument has outstanding advantages such as high sensitivity, low noise, wide linear range, strong anti-interference ability, high analysis accuracy, easy operation, and stable and reliable results. The instrument's cooling fan automatically switches on and off, saving the trouble of waiting to shut down after completing the sample.

2、 Basic principles

After the sample is introduced into the high-temperature cracking furnace, it undergoes oxidative cracking, and the sulfides in it are quantitatively converted into sulfur dioxide(SO2)The reaction gas is carried by the carrier gas and dehydrated by a membrane dryer before entering the reaction chamber. In the reaction chamber, sulfur dioxide is converted into an excited state of sulfur dioxide after being irradiated with ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength(S02*When S02*When transitioning to the ground state, photons are emitted, and the photoelectron signal is received by a photomultiplier tube, amplified by an amplifier, and processed by a computer to be converted into an electrical signal proportional to the intensity of light. The entire reaction process can be expressed as follows:

Under experimental conditions, the fluorescence intensity generated in the reaction is proportional to the amount of sulfur dioxide produced, and the amount of sulfur dioxide is proportional to the total sulfur content in the sample. Therefore, the total sulfur content in the sample can be determined by measuring the fluorescence intensity. Before analyzing the sample, use a standard sample that is close to the sample to create a calibration curve. Then, analyze the sample under the same conditions. The program automatically calculates the sulfur content of the sample based on the calibration curve of the standard sample.
