The Jig 1540 is a simple instrument used to quickly measure the adhesion of various types of coatings, with a thickness of up to 50 μ m (2 mils).

Made of steel, with 11 wedge-shaped teeth spaced 1mm apart. Cut out two sets of perpendicular straight lines to obtain a pattern of 100 squares.
