The Jigs1542 is suitable for measuring cross cut adhesion of up to 250 µ m (9.8mils) coatings on flat surfaces and test plates.
Use the provided hex wrench to measure large or small panels by rapidly changing the position of the guide wheel.
Each blade wheel contains 8 cutting surfaces When one cutting surface wears out, the rotating blade turns to the next cutting surface.
The Engel 1542 offers three different blade spacings of 1, 2, and 3mm for various coating thicknesses.
The MiG 1542 is available in its own (basic kit) or as a complete kit including brushes, magnifying glasses, and ISO or ASTM tape There is also an advanced kit that includes all three (1, 2&3mm) cross cut adhesion testers, along with ISO or ASTM tape.
