EC21 is an LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module designed specifically for the M2M and IoT fields by Mobile Communications. It can well meet customers' application needs for high cost-effectiveness and low power consumption, and supports a maximum downlink rate of 10Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 5Mbps. The EC21 series is particularly suitable for LTE network connections that do not require high network speed but require stable and reliable connectivity.

EC21 is compatible with the UMTS/HPSA+UC20 module and the LTE EC20 and EC25 modules of the mobile communication multi network standard in terms of packaging. This series of modules includes a total of 10 versions as follows: EC21-E、EC21-EU、EC21-EC、EC21-A、EC21-V、EC21-AU、EC21-AUT、EC21-AUV、EC21-J And EC21-KL; Enable backward compatibility with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring normal operation even in remote areas lacking 3G and 4G networks.

Based on Qualcomm's advanced IZat ™ Positioning technology (Gen8C Lite), EC21 integrates multi constellation GNSS receivers, supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS positioning technologies, enabling faster, more accurate, and reliable positioning. The built-in GNSS also greatly simplifies the design of customer applications.

EC21 has rich built-in network protocols, integrates multiple industrial standard interfaces, and supports multiple drivers and software functions (such as USB virtual serial port drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, Android and other operating systems, eCall *, etc.); Greatly expanding its application scope in the fields of M2M and IoT, such as smart meter reading, wearable devices, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, fleet management, and security systems.
