Low maintenance volume - Most vortex flowmeters on the market use pressure tapping holes or inserted detection elements to sense vortices. Once impurities in the medium are embedded in the pressure tapping holes or gaps between the sensing element and the meter body, the signal becomes weak or unstable. A good design should have no easily clogged parts, thereby reducing maintenance.

Online replacement of sensing elements - Some manufacturers' sensing elements are combined with vortex generators, which may seem simple in design but bring inconvenience to practical use. Because once the sensing part fails, the medium inside the pipeline needs to be emptied and depressurized before replacing the components, which affects production. A perfect design should separate the two, so that the sensing part can be replaced separately without emptying the medium.

Flow meters are susceptible to vibration interference, and well-designed flow meters can eliminate interference through hardware and digital signal processing to obtain stable signals.

The installation of a flowmeter requires a long straight pipe section before and after the installation, and some manufacturers can provide a design for reducing the diameter inside the flowmeter, greatly reducing the need for users to equip specialized vortex street flowmeters with straight pipe sections.

The flow regulating valve or pressure regulating valve should be installed as far downstream as 5D of the flow meter. If it is necessary to install it upstream of the flow meter,

Special attention: If a valve is installed near the upstream of the installation point of the vortex flowmeter, constantly opening and closing the valve will have a great impact on the service life of the flowmeter and can easily cause permanent damage to the flowmeter. Try to avoid installing flow meters on very long overhead pipelines as much as possible. Over time, the sagging of the flow meter can easily cause seal leakage between the flow meter and the flange. If installation is necessary, pipe fastening devices must be installed at 2D positions upstream and downstream of the flow meter.

2. The name of the tested medium (steam should indicate whether it is saturated steam or superheated steam)

3. Working pressure of the tested medium

4. Working temperature of the tested medium
