LX type elastic pin coupling
The elastic column pin coupling belongs to the category of mechanical universal components. It is made of several non-metallic elastic materials and is placed in the flange holes of the two halves of the coupling to achieve the connection of the two halves of the coupling through the column pin.
Features: This coupling has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and allows for easy installation, removal, and replacement of elastic components without the need to move the two halves of the coupling.
The material of its elastic components is generally nylon 6, which has the ability to compensate for slight displacement of two axes. The elastic components are subject to shear during operation and require high reliability in working conditions. For example, the transmission shaft system of the lifting mechanism of a crane should never be selected, and should not be used for low-speed heavy loads or transmission shaft systems with strong impact and vibration. It should also not be used for working conditions with large radial and angular displacement and transmission shaft systems with low installation accuracy, which are eliminated varieties.
The column pin in the elastic column pin coupling is in a shear and compression state during operation, and its strength condition is to calculate the shear strength on the cross-section of the elastic column pin and the compression strength between the column pin and the pin hole wall.
