1、 Definition and core functions

Definition: A climate and environmental testing equipment with a large volume (usually several cubic meters to tens of cubic meters) that can comprehensively simulate high temperature, low temperature, and humidity (alternating) environments.

Core function: To achieve precise temperature cycling, humidity cycling, and constant temperature and humidity testing in large workspaces, used to evaluate the reliability, stability, and performance of complete machines, large components, or batch samples in complex environments.

2、 Core Systems and Technologies

1. Structural system

Library structure: adopting modular splicing design. The warehouse plate is a double-sided metal plate (SUS304 stainless steel or color steel plate), filled with high-density polyurethane foam in the middle, usually ≥ 100mm thick, to ensure structural strength and thermal insulation performance.

Sealing design: The door frame adopts high and low temperature resistant silicone rubber sealing strips, and is equipped with a clamping mechanism to ensure that high temperature and high humidity do not leak out, and low temperature does not frost.

Strengthening load-bearing capacity: The internal floor and structure are designed to be reinforced to support heavy samples.

2. Refrigeration system

Refrigeration method: Mechanical compression refrigeration is the foundation for achieving a wide temperature range and rapid cooling.

Refrigeration cycle:

Cascade refrigeration: standard configuration, used to achieve low temperatures from -40 ℃ to -70 ℃. It consists of two independent refrigeration cycles, a high-temperature stage and a low-temperature stage, which exchange heat through a cascade heat exchanger.

Parallel connection of multiple compressors: Two or more compressors are used to form a parallel unit, which, together with an energy regulation system, automatically adjusts the refrigeration output according to the thermal load, improving energy efficiency, reliability, and lifespan.

Core components: semi enclosed/fully enclosed compressor, air-cooled or water-cooled condenser, finned evaporator, accumulator, gas-liquid separator, thermal expansion valve.

3. Heating system

Method: Nickel chromium alloy heating wires are used and arranged in groups within the air circulation duct.

Control: PID regulation is achieved through high-power solid-state relays to achieve precise and fast heating control.

4. Humidity system

Humidification method:

Steam humidification: the mainstream method. It is divided into electrode steam humidification (generating steam by heating water with electrodes) and electric steam humidification (generating steam by heating water with electric heating tubes). Provide a clean and controllable humidification source.

Dehumidification method:

Refrigeration and dehumidification: core dehumidification technology. By controlling the surface temperature of the dedicated dehumidification evaporator to be lower than the dew point temperature of the air inside the box, water vapor is condensed and discharged.

Special low-temperature and low humidity control: When low humidity needs to be achieved in low-temperature environments, a combination of refrigeration dehumidification and indoor air replacement technology is used.

5. Air circulation system

Composition: Composed of multiple long axis motors, centrifugal fans, and air ducts that have undergone aerodynamic calculations.

Airflow organization: Designed as an upward return or horizontal air supply mode, optimized through deflectors to ensure temperature and humidity uniformity throughout the entire large workspace.

6. Control system

Controller: Industrial grade programmable logic controller (PLC) and high-resolution touch screen (HMI).

Control algorithm: Adopt adaptive PID or fuzzy PID control algorithm to accurately compensate for the nonlinearity and large lag of temperature and humidity.

Programming function: Supports multi segment program editing and can set complex temperature and humidity profiles, including residency, cycling, and slope changes.

Data recording: Equipped with large capacity storage as standard, real-time recording of the entire process operation data and curves, supporting USB drive export and remote monitoring.

3、 Main technical parameters

1. Temperature parameters

Temperature range: e.g. -70 ℃~+150 ℃.

Temperature fluctuation: ≤± 0.5 ℃.

Temperature uniformity: ≤ 2.0 ℃.

Heating and cooling rate: 1 ℃~3 ℃/min (average rate, higher specifications can be customized).

2. Humidity parameters

Humidity range: 20%~98% RH (this range is temperature dependent and can usually be achieved within the range of+25 ℃~+85 ℃).

Humidity fluctuation: ± 2.5% RH.

Humidity uniformity: ≤+3% RH.

Heating and cooling rate: It should be specified as% RH/min, usually slower than temperature changes.

4、 Performance and reliability analysis

1. Correlation of performance indicators
