The main mechanism of formation of cutting oil mist:
(1)Cutting oil atomization is mainly caused by the intense impact of fixed and rotating units in the machine tool system on the cutting oil, which is broken into small droplets floating in the working environment;
(2)The occurrence of cutting oil steam is due to the large amount of heat generated in the cutting area being transferred into the cutting oil, causing its temperature to rise and then coming into contact with the machining site to produce steam. These vapors then condense into an oil mist centered around small droplets or other particles in the surrounding air.
Types of oil mist generated during metal cutting process:
(1)The clean oil mist generated by jet impact does not contain solid dust;
(2)The oil mist containing solid dust generated by spraying firmware lubricant;
(3)Smoke generated due to evaporation or burning caused by high temperatures during heating or high-speed cutting.
Smoke purifier: For areas that produce smoke and dust, it is generally used for industrial purposes and belongs to the reinforced type. The smoke filter isPhysically used to remove bacteria and dust with a certain range of diameters; Air purifier: It belongs to the ordinary type. A purifier can purify harmful substances in the air. A purifier decomposes harmful substances such as formaldehyde through chemical reactions to kill harmful bacteria.
