Application scope:
The MC-2000C paint film thickness gauge adopts magnetic thickness measurement method, which can conveniently and non destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic paint films on ferromagnetic materials, such as zinc, copper, chromium coatings on steel surfaces or paint, enamel, fiberglass, spray coating, asphalt and other paint films. This instrument is widely used in industries such as machinery, automotive, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, electroplating, spraying, enamel, plastics, etc.
working principle

The MC-2000C paint film thickness gauge uses electromagnetic induction method to measure the thickness of the coating layer. The probe located on the surface of the component generates a closed magnetic circuit, which will change to varying degrees as the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material changes, causing changes in magnetic resistance and probe coil inductance. The MC-2000C paint film thickness gauge uses this principle to measure the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material, that is, the thickness of the coating layer.
