When the mains power is abnormal, the battery outputs AC power to the load through the inverter. After the mains power is restored to normal, the system automatically returns to normal working mode without interruption. If the abnormality exceeds the backup time of the battery, the UPS will stop supplying power to the load.

When operating in this mode, the load is connected to the UPS through an electronic switch installed on the SCR (thyristor). When the output is overloaded, the temperature exceeds the standard operating temperature, or the battery is discharged too much, the UPS will enter this working mode.
When the UPS is not started and the load is directly connected to the power supply through the bypass switch, the UPS enters manual bypass mode. In this mode, users or operators can perform maintenance operations without cutting off the load power supply.

When in manual shutdown mode, the UPS is in a fully shut down state, so the inverter is turned off and there is no current flowing through any bypass lines for the load. However, if the battery is discharging and the UPS happens to have AC current input, the battery rectification circuit will start working. Communication devices and control boards will also operate in this mode.
When the UPS is in a completely shut down state, any internal circuits and components stop working. However, there is still energy stored in the battery cabinet, so there is still a certain risk of electric shock when operating its internal components.
The RS232 port is located on the back cover of the UPS and can be used for remote monitoring of the UPS. The distance between UPS and its monitoring equipment should not exceed 10 meters. If the computer used for monitoring does not have an RS232 port, it is best to use a USB adapter cable such as Trendnet tu-s9. The super terminal in the computer can achieve monitoring. This program is available in "Windows" and "window xP" systems, and can also be downloaded from the internet in newer versions.
