Instrument operation method
Before measuring moisture, hold the instrument (with the probe not in contact with the object being measured) and turn on the switch (turn the switch to ON). The digital display should be within ± 00.5. If it is not within this range, slowly turn the zero adjustment knob to make the digital display within ± 00.5.
After adjusting the zero position of the instrument, the moisture content can be measured. Insert the probe into the tested wood chips, and the reading at this time is the actual moisture content of the tested item.

First, take a sample of chemical raw material A, whose actual moisture content is 8.5% (how to determine its actual moisture value will be introduced below). After turning on the chemical raw material moisture meter and adjusting it to zero, insert the instrument probe into the middle part of the chemical raw material sample, hold the meter steadily, and if the data displayed on the meter is 9.2 (with a certain deviation from the actual moisture content of the sample), rotate the dial on the surface of the meter (clockwise adjustment data decreases, counterclockwise adjustment data increases) until the data displayed on the meter screen is also 8.5. At this time, the gear pointed by the dial is 4.5. So in the future, there is no need to calibrate this chemical raw material anymore. Simply rotate the dial to the 4.5 gear for measurement.
