Compared with NTAG 213, the NFC anti-counterfeiting tag NTAG213 TT provides additional advantages for smart packaging and brand protection by offering extended features.


The NTAG 213 TT new tag tampering function is used to detect the status of tag tampering lines during startup. If an open circuit is detected in the wire, NTAG 213 TT will permanently store this event. The information status of the tag tampering line can be mirrored in ASCII code form to the user memory containing NDEF information or can be read through a dedicated command


Further improvement in original signatures can be provided on NTAG 213 TT, which can be programmed and locked during tag initialization. NTAG 213 TT fully complies with NFC Forum Type 2 Tag (Ref.2) and ISO/IEC14443 Type A (Ref.1) specifications.



Communication with NTAG 213 TT can only be established when the IC is connected to the antenna. When NTAG 213 TT is located in the RF field, the high-speed RF communication interface allows data transmission at a baud rate of 106 kbit/s.



The NTAG 213 TT provides specific features aimed at improving integration and user convenience, with a fast read function that allows for the scanning of complete NDEF messages using only one FAST-READ command, thereby reducing overhead in high-throughput production environments. The improved RF performance provides greater flexibility in selecting shape, size, and material.

In terms of security, manufacturers have written 7-byte UID for each device. A one-time programmable bit pre programmed function container, on-site programmable read-only locking function, pre programmed ECC based original signature, providing the possibility of customization and permanent locking, 32-bit password protection to prevent unauthorized memory operations. The tag tampering message programmed by the client is blocked until a tampering event is detected after startup.
