This formaldehyde detection instrument is portable and used for rapid semi quantitative and semi qualitative detection of formaldehyde in indoor air on site. Characteristics: Simple structure, small size, easy to carry and use, and intuitive. It can be widely used for on-site quantitative and qualitative detection of formaldehyde in the air of living rooms, interiors, residential areas, public places, living places, and mining workshops.
Features:
■ Air sampler
It consists of several parts, including an air pump, a flow meter, a timer (time control circuit), a power supply, a work switch and indicator, a sampling bracket, etc. The technical specifications and performance of the sampler comply with the national standard GB/T17061-1997 "Technical Specification for Workplace Air Samplers".
The vacuum pump is an electromagnetic oscillation vacuum pump with a power of about 4W and a frequency of 50Hz. It uses 220V AC power and has an effective no-load flow rate of 0-2.0 liters per minute. When the resistance is between 30-60 mmHg, the flow rate is maintained at 0.8 liters per minute for sampling. The sampler itself has a timing device, which can ensure accurate sampling time and automatically stop sampling during the sampling process. The adjustment range of sampling time is 60 minutes.
Gas absorption tube
Adopt large bubble absorption tubes that comply with the national standard GB/T17061-1997. The interface between the inner and outer pipes is a standard airtight grinding port.
■ Formaldehyde detection specialized reagent
According to the national standard GB/T18204.26-2000 "Determination of formaldehyde in the air of public places - Phenol reagent colorimetric method", it is configured as a standard reagent kit, consisting of an absorption solution, an absorption bottle (phenol reagent), a colorimetric tube (color reagent), and a colorimetric step card.
This reagent can also be used for on-site self testing of individual indoor air formaldehyde. For detailed instructions on self-test usage, please refer to the introduction of the color scale card. Follow the following steps to use this instrument for testing.

The portable indoor air formaldehyde on-site detector is designed based on the principle of the national standard GB/T18204.26-2000 "Determination of formaldehyde in public air - Phenol reagent colorimetric method".
The instrument collects air samples from the testing site, and formaldehyde in the air is absorbed by the phenol reagent solution, which reacts to form triazine. In the acidic solution, triazine is oxidized by the high-speed iron ion of the color reagent to form a blue-green compound. According to the depth of the color, directly measure the color on site.
