The DS-6716HW encoder is the new generation network video server of Hikvision. It adopts multiple encoding algorithms including standard H.264, MPEG4, MPEG 2, and MJPEG, with strong compatibility. It can support the access of 700TVLine high line analog cameras and achieve WD1 (PAL 960x576); NTSC standard 960x480 resolution real-time encoding, surpassing traditional DVS playback and preview clarity. The DS-6716HW encoder is based on the Linux operating system, with code solidified in FLASH for stable and reliable operation. It also supports multiple network protocols and has powerful network functions, making it possible to form a powerful security protection system through networking.
The DS-6716HW network video server can be widely used for security prevention in fields such as finance, public security, military, telecommunications, transportation, power, education, and water conservancy.
