OTT MF Pro is a user-friendly and low maintenance electromagnetic flowmeter that enables cost-effective flow measurement. The MF Pro portable electromagnetic flowmeter uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure flow velocity and flow rate. The sensor emits electromagnetic waves in the water, forming a magnetic field in the surrounding water around the probe. The water flow velocity through the magnetic field is proportional to the voltage change of the probe, and the voltage change reflects the speed of the flow. The flow velocity value is then obtained through the microprocessor inside the probe. MF Pro is equipped with a built-in pressure sensor, which is used to measure the underwater position and indicate the correct flow depth. MF Pro saves on-site time by automatically calculating flow rate, and its electromagnetic sensor head does not require maintenance, making it very suitable for use in low flow environments and not affected by large amounts of organic matter.
