Overview

This oil-water isolator is used in conjunction with pressure gauges and precision pressure gauges for measurement, maintenance, and production. It is used to calibrate oxygen and pressure gauges, as well as other prohibited oil pressure gauges.

Product Details

1、 Purpose:

This oil-water isolator is used in conjunction with pressure gauges and precision pressure gauges for measurement, maintenance, and production. It is used to calibrate oxygen and pressure gauges, as well as other prohibited oil pressure gauges.

2、 Working principle and structure

Utilizing the different specific gravities of water and oil, which are immiscible with each other, and based on the principle of liquid pressure transmission. Water is first injected into the isolator, and the oil enters the oil cylinder (3) through the conduit (4). The water and oil in the cylinder are separated into layers, and the oil pressure is converted into water pressure through a pressure gauge. The oil pressure gauge is then calibrated through the conduit (2). The structure is shown in the diagram.

3、 Acceptance and storage

After receiving the packaged oil-water isolator, the customer should first inspect whether the packaging box is intact. If there is any damage, the cause should be immediately identified.

2. After opening the box, check whether the appearance of the oil-water isolator is intact, whether the user manual and factory certificate are complete. If there is a shortage, notify our factory immediately.

3. The oil-water isolator should be stored indoors at an ambient temperature of+5-35 ° C, with a corresponding temperature not exceeding 80%. The air should not contain corrosive harmful gases.

5、 Installation and use

1. Before use, the isolator must be cleaned with clean water and filled with water. The method is as follows:

Inject clean water from the upper connector (1), and when water flows out from the lower connector (5), the entire isolator is filled with water.

2. Wipe the water filled isolator dry, connect the lower connector (5) to the tester, and close the one-way valve of the tester. Connect the upper connector (1) to the tested instrument. After connecting, open the one-way valve, slowly increase the pressure, and measure the instrument being tested.

During calibration, when the water consumption approaches the capacity of the isolator (approximately 85 milliliters), clean water should be replenished. The steps are to close the one-way valve of the verification device, loosen the drain valve (6) (about 2-3 turns), and slowly add clean water from the upper joint (1). When there is oil-water mixture flowing out from the drain, the water replenishment is complete, and then tighten the drain valve.

4. The upper opening of the upper connector (1) should be checked regularly. If oil is found, it should be stopped immediately. Unscrew the upper connector (1), clean the isolator with a cleaning agent, tighten the upper connector (1), fill it with water, and then continue working.

After using the isolator, remove it and store it upright to avoid oil contamination of the inner wall holes of the conduit (2).

6、 Maintenance and repair

1. After each use, check if there is oil at the upper joint (1). If oil is found, clean the isolator. When cleaning, unscrew the connector (1) and clean the inside and outside of the isolator with a cleaning agent, without any oil stains.

2. If leakage is found during use, it should be tightened and connected to the tester and calibrated meter. If it is not sealed after tightening, the sealing gasket can be replaced to seal it.
