Basic overview of the on-off time area method
The on-off time area method is based on the water supply time of each household's heating system to allocate the total heating capacity of the building. The operation is based on installing room temperature on/off control valves on the branch lines of each household to control the on/off of the user's circulating water and achieve room temperature regulation for that household. At the same time, room temperature acquisition controllers are placed in representative rooms of each household to measure indoor temperature and user set temperature, and transmit these two temperature values to the on-off control valve. The on-off control valve determines the on-off ratio of the on-off valve within a control cycle based on the difference between the measured room temperature and the set value, and controls the on-off of the on-off regulating valve according to this on-off ratio to regulate the heat input into the room. At the same time, the on-off control valve of each household is recorded and counted, and the heat of the entire building is shared based on the cumulative on-off time of each household combined with the heating area. Real time dynamic monitoring of various data on the operation of the heating system through the management platform, timely response to various problems that occur in the system, and providing a basis for management personnel to carry out system maintenance. This method is another major breakthrough in the successful application of modern technology to traditional industries, and is a household heat metering method specified in the national industry standard "Technical Regulations for Heating Metering".

Heating metering control system using on-off time area method
