PCIe-8560/PXI-8565 PCI Express to PXI/CPCI Expansion Kit

The PCI Express to PXI/CompactPCI expansion kit uses high bandwidth PCI Express technology to control the PXI/CompactPCI modules installed on the PXI/CompactPCI expansion system. Due to the complete transparency of hardware and software, the expansion kit can quickly and conveniently detect PXI/CompactPCI cards installed in the expansion system without the need for additional driver or software installation.

The PCIe-8560 and PXI-8565 PCI Express to PXI/CompactPCI expansion kits provide more PXI slots for the host system by controlling the PXI/CompactPCI module through PCI Express. This technology consists of a PCIe-8560 card installed on the main computer, a shielded cable, and an expansion system with a 3U European standard card PXI-8565 expansion module. PCIe-8560, like PCI Expressx1, converts PCI Express signals to a PCI bridge (which supports seven 32-bit/66 MHz PXI/CompactPCI modules).

For applications that require control of 6U PXI or CompactPCI modules through PCI Express, the PXI-8565/6U is launched, which is a 6U version of the PXI-8565. The PXI-8565/6U provides the same functionality as the PXI-8568 in the CompactPCI/PXI specification. It includes a PCIe-8560 inserted into the main PC, a PXI-8565/6U for long-distance 6U CompactPCI/PXI chassis, and an ACL-EXPRESS-1/3/7 expansion cable.
