Product Details

Pointer flowmeter, also known as metal rotor flowmeter, is actually a variable area flowmeter. It usually has an upright spinal canal and a float that can freely move up and down in its flow rate. When the fluid flows through the spinal canal from bottom to top, the kinetic energy of the fluid generates thrust S and buoyancy A on the float, causing it to rise. As the annular flow area between the inner wall of the spinal canal and the float increases, the thrust S generated by fluid kinetic energy on the float decreases accordingly. When the sum of thrust S and buoyancy is equal to the float's own gravity G, the float is in equilibrium and stable at a certain height. The scale corresponding to this height position indicates the flow rate of fluid through the flowmeter. The principle is summarized as follows: when the measured medium is at a certain level, the magnetic float corresponds to the position of a float in the measuring tube. This float position is transmitted to the pointer through the magnetic coupling system in the indicator, and the corresponding flow rate value can be read on the dial.

The WLH steam metal tube float flowmeter mainly consists of two parts: 1 sensor and 2 converter. The sensor converts the flow rate into the displacement of the float, and through a magnetic coupling system, transmits the displacement of the float to the converter to indicate the flow rate. The converter has two structural forms, M1 and M2, and is equipped with different transmitters to form different functional combinations.

It can be installed with an air damping device on site. Based on modular design, remote signal output, switch signal output, cumulative quantity display, HART protocol execution, Profibus PA bus, all can be installed and used in real-time according to user needs. High temperature and high pressure design, selection of anti-corrosion materials, and X-ray inspection can ensure that the product is suitable for any on-site needs.
