The handheld SPD field tester is suitable for on-site testing of surge protectors (SPDs) in distribution systems such as meteorological bureaus, power industry, railway industry, petroleum and petrochemical industry, new energy industry, and communication industry. It is also suitable for quality inspection and factory testing of manufacturers of surge protectors (SPDs), varistors (MOVs), and discharge tubes (GDTs).

Two functional features

1. 4.7-inch color touch screen;
2. No need to remove SPD, it can be tested online with multiple testing modes to choose from (lightning protection module, MOV, GDT);
3. The qualified voltage range can be manually adjusted. The default MOV startup voltage variation range is ± 10%, and the GDT DC breakdown voltage variation range is ± 25%. If it exceeds the range, it will automatically display unqualified and beep, and the qualified range can also be customized;
4. There are four DC waveforms available, 100V/S, 500V/S, 1000V/S, and 2000V/S, to meet the testing requirements of different discharge tubes.
5. Automatically determine whether the SPD module is a voltage limiting MOV or a switch type GDT;
6. The measurable voltage range is 60V~2000V, meeting all low-voltage SPD testing requirements (including photovoltaic and wind power);
7. The test data is automatically saved to the memory of the tester, and can be imported into the computer through the data;
8. Optional portable marking machine, which can print and paste the test results on site on SPD for easy comparison during the next inspection;
9. Remaining battery display, charging indicator;
10. Compact and lightweight, easy to carry, suitable for on-site SPD testing;
