Introduction

Differential pressure transmitter is used to prevent the medium in the pipeline from directly entering the transmitter. The pressure sensing diaphragm is connected to the transmitter by a capillary tube filled with fluid. It is used to measure the liquid level, flow rate, and pressure of liquids, gases, or vapors, and then convert them into 4-20mA DC signal output. As the name suggests, the result measured by a differential pressure transmitter is the pressure difference, that is, △ P=ρ g △ h. Since oil tanks are often cylindrical, the area S of their cross-sectional circle remains constant. Therefore, gravity G=△ P · S=ρ g △ h · S, S remains constant, and G is proportional to △ P. As long as the Δ P value is accurately detected and proportional to the height Δ h, the pressure detected remains constant even when the volume of the oil expands or shrinks and the actual liquid level rises or falls during temperature changes. If the user needs to display the actual liquid level, medium temperature compensation can also be introduced to solve the problem.
