RF admittance level controllerworking principle
The level controller uses phase shift detection technology to detect the presence or absence of material level in the tested silo. The quartz electronic oscillator in the controller electronic circuit generates a fixed frequency high-frequency sine wave signal within the radio transmission spectrum range. The high-frequency oscillation signal is divided into two paths, one path is directly sent to the detection electrode, and the other path is sent to the anti adhesion protection electrode after passing through a voltage follower. The phase detector compares the detection signal of the feedback self detecting rod with the basic signal in phase. Due to the difference in dielectric constant and conductivity of any tested material compared to air, when the detection rod comes into contact with the material, the reactance (including capacitance and impedance) of the detection signal will change, and the change in reactance will cause a change in the phase of the detection signal on the detection rod; Therefore, the phase difference between the detection signal and the reference signal also changes accordingly. After processing the change in phase difference, the output circuit is driven to issue an alarm signal. Probe Introduction
There are probe series made of various materials that can meet the needs of most detection processes. Polyphenylene sulfide plastic (Ryton) and 316 stainless steel are commonly used materials. Ryton is a durable engineering plastic with strong corrosion resistance. If Ryton and stainless steel still cannot meet the measurement requirements, a probe with a Kynar sheath can be used.
When the RF probe is installed on the top of the storage tank, the end can be extended up to 1.5 meters. If longer is required, a pipe can be used to extend the root. The rope type probe of the RF8000 series can reach a length of 13.5 meters.
Probe accessories
Some of these accessories are installed on the probe to improve sensitivity and adapt to detecting low dielectric constant materials; Some can be installed on the probe to increase its length, and can be used when the probe is not long enough.
