Overview
The Fisher valve positioner is installed on the pneumatic control valve to accurately position the valve stem position (regulated variable x) according to the input control signal (reference variable w). The input control signal from the control system or controller is used as the given value, and the stroke or angle of the control valve is used as the feedback and measurement value. The valve positioner compares the two and then provides the pneumatic pressure signal (output variable) to the pneumatic actuator according to a certain rule to adjust the valve position.
