3. Jumper cap:
J4 is the "functional mode" jumper terminal. Short circuit the left two feet '' learning code 'to the learning mode, which can be used to learn infrared coding by operating the buttons; Short circuit the "send code" on the right foot to send mode, and use the operation button to send the infrared code. The default setting at the factory is the code sending mode, and the J4 jumper cap is only effective for key operations. 1. Precautions:

① When installing the smart air conditioning remote control, the infrared emitter of the smart air conditioning remote control and the infrared receiver area of the air conditioning should be aligned as parallel as possible, and there should be no object blocking in the middle.

② During installation, the distance between the smart air conditioning remote control and the air conditioning receiving area shall not exceed 10 meters.

2. Installation method:

A maximum of 64 485 devices can be mounted on a 458 bus (the actual number depends on the bus driver capability).

6、 Engineering debugging and testing

1. Instructions for the air conditioning self equipped remote control device:
When the air conditioner itself comes with a remote control to control the air conditioner switch, it is completed by the "on/off" button. Press the "on/off" button once to send the air conditioner "on" command, press the button again to send the air conditioner "off" command, and cycle alternately.
The functions of cooling, heating, dehumidification, and automatic are completed by the "mode" button. Press the button once to send the "cooling" command, press the button twice to send the "heating" command, press the button three times to send the "dehumidification" command, press the button four times to send the "automatic" command, and press the button five times to send the "cooling" command again, entering a new cycle (different air conditioning remote controls may have different cycle sequences, but the actual air conditioning sequence shall prevail).
When sending cooling, heating, dehumidification, or automatic commands, temperature information (16~30 ℃, with slight differences in temperature range for different air conditioners) is also required. In addition to setting the mode to "cooling", "heating" or "dehumidification", you can also press the "heating" or "cooling" button to issue a combination command for the corresponding temperature. To cool down to 20 ℃, first set the mode to "cooling" and continuously press the cooling button until it displays 19 ℃. Pressing the heating button again will send the "cooling mode 20 ℃ command", and so on.


2. Debugging preparation:
① Debugging tools: USB/232, RS232/485 serial converter, original remote control for air conditioning, debugging computer, 12V DC power supply. Connect the air conditioner remote control in the manner shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3. Run the intelligent remote control debugging software on the computer as shown in Figure 4. Correctly set the serial port number, baud rate, remote control address, and communication protocol type for computer communication on the software.

② Factory settings: baud rate 9600, address 1, communication protocol MODBUS-RTU; The address, baud rate, and communication protocol type of the remote control can be reset through software.

Click the "Single Read" or "Continuous Read" button to display real-time temperature, indicating normal communication connection. Then, you can learn and send remote control commands.


3. Command for upper computer learning:
① Attention: After pressing the button on the original remote control of the air conditioner, the content displayed on the LCD screen (mode and temperature) is the command we have learned.
② The memory space can learn and store a total of 61 commands. Check the "Learning" box in the "Air Conditioning Command and Mode" column of the software interface to put the air conditioning remote control in a learning state.
③ Shutdown command: Set the original remote control to "power on" mode, check the "shutdown" box on the software interface, click the "control" button on the right, and the status indicator LED will light up, indicating that it has entered the learning state and is waiting for the arrival of the infrared waveform. Please aim the original remote control of the air conditioner at the infrared probe detector U3 and press the "on/off" button. The status indicator light will turn off within 1 second, indicating successful learning of the shutdown command (mode and temperature options can be ignored when learning the shutdown command).
④ Power on command: The power on command is an important command that turns on the air conditioner and sets the operating mode and temperature of the air conditioner. The power on state corresponds to four modes: "cooling", "heating", "dehumidification", and "automatic". Any temperature in these four modes can achieve the power on function. The state of the air conditioner after turning on is the sent mode and temperature state (note: the power on command is not an independent command, but a combination command, which needs to carry the operating mode parameters and operating temperature parameters. That is, any temperature in the four air conditioning modes can be used as the power on command; the ON power button on the panel corresponds to the cooling mode of 16 degrees).
⑤ Cooling command: Set the original remote control of the air conditioner to the "cooling, 19 ℃ on" state. On the software interface, check the "cooling" and "on" boxes, set the temperature to 20 ℃, click the "control" button, and the status indicator LED will light up, indicating that it has entered the learning state. Aim the original remote control at the infrared probe detector U3 and press the "temperature+" button (the original air conditioning remote control changes to cooling at 20 ℃). The status indicator light will turn off within 1 second, indicating that the command "cooling at 20 ℃" has been successfully learned. Learn other temperature commands in cooling mode using the same method.
⑥ The learning of commands such as heating, automatic, dehumidification, etc. is similar to cooling. When learning the temperature of these four modes, remember to check the "power on" checkbox. The temperature range for learning is between 16 ℃ and 30 ℃. But not limited to the 15 fixed temperatures of 16 ℃ to 30 ℃, for example, users can learn the 20 ℃ storage location as the 16 ℃ of the original remote control of the air conditioner. In this way, when controlling the sending of a 20 ℃ command, the actual instruction sent is a 16 ℃ command. The stored temperature is only a correspondence relationship, and users can make temperature correspondences according to specific situations.
⑦ The instruction learning in "heating", "dehumidification", and "automatic" modes is the same as that in "cooling" mode.


4. The upper computer sends commands
① Send shutdown command: Check the "Send Code" and "Shutdown" boxes in the debugging software, click the "Control" button, and the status indicator LED on the software will stay on for about 2 seconds before turning off, indicating that the shutdown command has been successfully sent.
② Send cooling command: Check the "Send Code" and "Power On" boxes in the debugging software, select the working mode as "Cooling", set the temperature to 20 ℃, click the "Control" button, and the status indicator LED on the upper part will stay on for about 2 seconds before turning off, indicating that the command has been successfully sent. When sending a cooling command, be sure to check the "power on" button. If the status indicator LED on the send button lights up for a short period of time after clicking the send button, it indicates that the instruction has not been learned.
The instruction codes for "heating", "dehumidification", and "automatic" modes are the same as those for "cooling" mode.


5. Press the button to learn air conditioning commands

① Button Description: There are 8 buttons on it, with the following functions: ON, OFF, DEHUM, AUTO, COOL, HEAT, T+, T -.

② Press the button to learn infrared commands: First, short-circuit the "Learn" pin on J4 to enter the learning state.

(1) Power on command learning: Adjust the original remote control of the air conditioner to the 17 ℃ power on state in cooling mode, press the "power on" button, and the status indicator light will turn on, indicating that the button is valid. At this time, align the original remote control with the infrared detector U3, press the temperature "-" button to send the cooling 16 ℃ command, and the status indicator light will turn off within 1 second, indicating that the power on command learning is successful. The power button "ON" corresponds to the lowest temperature in the "cooling" mode, which defaults to 16 ℃.

(2) Shutdown command learning: When the shutdown button is pressed "OFF", the status indicator light is on, indicating that the button is valid. At this time, align the original remote control with the infrared detector U3, press the shutdown button, and the status indicator light will turn off within 1 second, indicating that the shutdown command learning is successful.

(3) Cooling command learning: Press the COOL button, and the LED status indicator will flash once, indicating that you have entered the "cooling" learning mode. Next, press the temperature increase button (T+) to enter the cooling 16 ℃ learning command, and the LED status indicator will light up. Adjust the original air conditioning remote control to cooling 17 ℃ and align it with the infrared receiver U3. Press the "temperature -" button (after pressing, the original remote control will change to cooling 16 ℃), and the LED will turn off, indicating that the cooling 16 ℃ command learning is complete; Press the heating button (T+) again to enter the cooling 17 ℃ learning command. At this time, the LED status indicator will light up. Aim the original remote control of the air conditioner at the infrared receiver U3 and press the "temperature+" button (after pressing, the original remote control will change to cooling 17 ℃). The LED will turn off, indicating that the cooling 17 ℃ command learning is completed. Similarly, other temperature commands can be learned in cooling mode.

The temperature decreasing button "T -" function is similar to the temperature increasing button "T+" function, that is, every time the "T -" button is pressed, the temperature to be learned decreases by 1 degree, and the lowest temperature decreases to 16 ℃.

During the key learning process, every time the "COOL" cooling mode button is pressed, the temperature to be learned returns to the lowest temperature, starting from the default of 16 ℃.

(4) Command learning for other modes: The command learning for "heating", "dehumidification", and "automatic" modes is the same as that for "cooling" mode. First, select the mode to learn, and then start learning from the lowest temperature to the highest temperature. The default lowest temperature is 16 ℃.

③ Press the button to send infrared commands

(1) Power on/off command sending: Connect the jumper cap of J4 to the "send" terminal to enter the ready to send state. Click on the "ON" or "OFF" button to activate or deactivate the device. The button 'ON' corresponds to the startup status command at 16 ℃ in the 'cooling' mode.

(2) Cooling mode command sending: Connect the jumper cap of J4 to the "send" terminal to enter the ready to send state. Click the "COOL" cooling mode button to enter the cooling mode. Click the "T+" button to send a 16 ℃ cooling command. After that, every time you click the "T+" button, the sent temperature increases by 1 degree, and every time you click the "T -" button, the sent temperature decreases by 1 degree. The temperature adjustment is between 16 ℃ and 30 ℃.

The command sending method in "heating", "dehumidification", and "automatic" modes is the same as that in "cooling" mode, that is, first select the mode, and then select the "T+" or "T -" button to change the sending temperature.


6. Precautions

① When learning air conditioning commands, do not face the infrared probe towards interference sources such as computer monitors and infrared cameras to avoid learning failure.

② There are two methods to learn air conditioning commands: one is to learn through the upper computer software; The second is to learn through pressing buttons; When learning by pressing the button, it is necessary to short-circuit the "learning" pin in J4 and switch it to learning mode. After completing the learning, J4 should be restored to short-circuit the "sending" pin and switch it to sending mode. (It is recommended to use an upper computer for learning)

③ Press and hold buttons K1 (ON) and K2 (OFF) simultaneously, then power on to restore the product's factory settings: Address 1; The baud rate is 9600.

④ When using the automatic power on function of the air conditioner, the power supply of the remote control and the air conditioner should be the same power supply.

⑤ The button power on command coincides with the cooling 16 ℃ command address, which means that the command at that position will be overwritten. The actual command will be based on the command learned later. The startup command must be learned, please refer to the learning command section for details.

⑥ The mode and temperature combination on the software interface only refers to setting a position, and it is not really limited to learning this mode combination. Users can learn the required commands according to their actual situation. For example, at the position of "cooling at 20 ℃", you can learn "cooling at 18 ℃" or "heating at 21 ℃" according to your actual needs. When you visit this position and send a code in the future, it will be the "cooling at 18 ℃" or "heating at 21 ℃" that you have learned.
⑦ Due to the differentiation of air conditioners in the current market, this air conditioner remote control can learn most of the air conditioner commands on the market, but it does not guarantee that all air conditioner commands can be correctly learned and controlled. If you find that the remote control commands of a certain air conditioning model cannot be learned and controlled during use, please inform the manufacturer in a timely manner. We will do our best to solve it for you.


7. Problem analysis

When encountering the inability to control the air conditioning after learning, it may be caused by the following reasons:

① Installation issues. Due to improper angle or distance during the installation of the air conditioning remote control. Solution: Adjust the angle and distance of the air conditioning remote control appropriately.

② The location for learning and sending commands is incorrect. For example, what you are learning is cooling at 23 ℃, but what you are sending is cooling at 24 ℃. Solution: relearn the command for that location.

③ Sometimes I can't control when sending commands, and sometimes I can control them. One reason is that the installation angle and distance may not be appropriate, and the other reason is that the command has not been learned well. Suggestion: First, adjust the installation angle reasonably. If there is no change, relearn the command.


7、 Advanced features
1. Temperature and humidity: The equipment is equipped with a single temperature sensor or a temperature and humidity sensor (customers can choose the version themselves); Used for measuring environmental temperature/humidity
2. Call auto start: The device will automatically record the last running status of the device and send an infrared code on the next power up to restore it to the state before power failure. You can set it to be turned on or off by yourself.
3. Infrared carrier frequency: The actual frequency of the air conditioner to be controlled can be changed according to the infrared code carrier frequency, with a default of 38Khz and an adjustable range of 30-60Khz
4. Automatic control mode: There are a total of three modes for automatic control: scheduled on/off mode, constant temperature control mode, and temperature curve mode. During the use of automatic control, manual setting may fail (strictly execute automatic control) unless automatic control is exited.
5. Reservation power on/off: that is, timed power on/off mode, which requires setting the power on time, power off time, operating mode, and set temperature in advance. After successful setting, the controller will turn on the air conditioner through infrared emission during the corresponding time period until the time period ends and the air conditioner is turned off. (Only one time period is supported within a day, and you can choose which day of the week to repeat the control logic)
(Note: To use the reserved power on/off function, the "automatic control mode" needs to be set to the reserved power on/off mode, and the corresponding repeat date of each week needs to be checked)
6. Constant temperature control: It is necessary to set the working time period (start time, end time), upper temperature limit, and lower temperature limit for each day in advance. After successful setting, the controller will use infrared emission to turn on and off the air conditioner during the corresponding time period to ensure stable indoor temperature until the end of the time period. During the reset working time period, the air conditioning controller will intelligently adjust the control temperature of the air conditioner based on the current ambient temperature, so that the ambient temperature is ultimately maintained within the temperature range set by the user.
(Note: To use the constant temperature control function, the "automatic control mode" needs to be set to constant temperature mode, and the corresponding repeat date of each week needs to be checked)
7. Temperature curve: It is necessary to set 24 air conditioning control temperatures within 24 hours of a day in advance, as well as the mode to be operated on that day (only one operation mode is supported per day, and one control temperature can be set every hour, or it can be set to shut down). After successful setting, the controller will automatically control the air conditioning operation at each time point according to the user's configured mode and temperature.
(Note: To use the temperature curve control function, the "automatic control mode" needs to be set to temperature curve mode, and the corresponding repetition date of each week needs to be checked)
