1. Abnormal wear fault of pulse encoder:


When repairing a servo motor due to abnormal wear of the encoder, it is necessary to first check whether the servo motor repair system is stable, whether the circuit board current is stable, and whether the voltage of the feedback line of the speed detection unit has continuously decreased at certain points. If there is a decrease, it indicates that the pulse encoder is abnormal. At this time, the most effective repair method is to choose to replace the encoder.


2. Pulse encoder coupling fault:


In the case where the cross coupling of the pulse encoder is damaged and cannot be used, it will cause a significant difference between the shaft speed and the detected speed, which cannot be synchronized. At this time, the coupling can be replaced.


3. Malfunction of the speed generator:


Usually, it is common to encounter faults such as wear and jamming of the mechanical and electrical brushes during daily maintenance of the tachometer generator, so it is necessary to repair or replace the tachometer generator first. For maintenance, the electric brush of the speedometer can be polished with steel sandpaper, and the commutator can be cleaned and reassembled.


4. The spindle cannot move directionally or does not move properly


When the spindle cannot move directionally or does not move properly during the maintenance of Siemens servo motors, the first step is to check the settings of the directional control circuit board, adjust the directional board and spindle control printed circuit board, and also check whether the output waveform of the encoder is showing normal performance to determine if it is caused by coding problems.
