Technical Features

The overhead mining electric locomotive is a commonly used transportation equipment in small and medium-sized mining areas. Used for mineral transportation in general metal mines or coal mine main tunnels. At present, domestic metallurgical and mining enterprises are operating a series of DC overhead standard gauge industrial and mining electric locomotives, including 80t, 100t, 150t, 200t, 224t, etc. There are also larger tonnage industrial and mining electric locomotives abroad. As the tonnage of electric locomotives increases, the power of traction motors is also gradually increasing.

In the field of mining, especially in relatively harsh operating environments and mountainous and underground areas with different altitudes, rail transit has unique advantages. Especially in electric traction, DC traction and pulse current traction motors currently maintain a dominant position. Their characteristic is that they are powered by transformers installed on locomotives, which can manufacture motors that are not controlled by fixed grid voltage. At the same time, the structure of traction motors is relatively compact, lightweight, and has good operating characteristics. Traction locomotives have not only been widely used in the domestic mining industry, but have also been favored in the mining industry abroad.

Based on more than 30 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of traction motors for mining locomotives, we have completed the full series of development work for DC ZQ, ZBQ series and AC YQ, YBQ series traction motors for 8-40T mining overhead locomotives, DC ZQ, ZBQ series and AC YQ, YBQ series traction motors for 100-350T mining mainline locomotives, with power levels ranging from 3.5KW to 520KW, and mass production.
