The HTDM series saltwater concentration meter is an online tuning fork resonant density meter that can be inserted and widely used for medium density detection in pipelines, open tank containers, and closed tank containers. The fluid density directly depends on the vibration frequency received by the tuning fork when the sensor is inserted into the medium. The sensor is equipped with a built-in temperature sensor to provide temperature compensation. Typical industries that tuning fork densitometers can be involved in include the petrochemical industry, brewing industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, and mineral processing (such as clay, carbonate, silicate, etc.). 1、 Product Introduction

HTDM seriesSalt water concentration meter online tuning fork resonant density meterIt can be installed in a plug-in manner and is widely used for medium density detection in pipelines, open tank containers, and closed tank containers. The fluid density directly depends on the vibration frequency received by the tuning fork when the sensor is inserted into the medium. The sensor is equipped with a built-in temperature sensor to provide temperature compensation. Typical industries that tuning fork densitometers can be involved in include the petrochemical industry, brewing industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, and mineral processing (such as clay, carbonate, silicate, etc.). They are specifically used for interface detection in multi product pipelines, density detection of mixed mixtures, endpoint monitoring of reaction vessels, and interface detection of separators in these industries.


2、 The working principle is as follows

HTDM seriesSalt water concentration meter online tuning fork resonant density meterIt is designed based on the principle of component vibration, similar to a two toothed tuning fork. The fork body vibrates due to a piezoelectric crystal located at the root of the tooth, and the frequency of the vibration is detected by another piezoelectric crystal. Through phase shifting and amplification circuits, the fork body is stabilized at its natural resonant frequency. When the medium flows through the fork, the change in the mass of the medium causes a change in the resonant frequency.

3、 Product Features and Advantages

(1) The tuning fork densitometer can continuously measure the density of the medium in pipelines and storage tanks in real time, without the need for a specific height difference in liquid level, and the selection of measurement points is more flexible;

6、 Installation precautions for tuning fork densitometer

Unlike pipeline density sensors, the fork part of an insertable density meter is not fully enclosed

1. Pipe wall or container

The boundary effects generated by the wall on the fluid, combined with the viscosity effect of the measuring medium itself, will have a certain impact on the measurement calibration of the sensor. In order to overcome these, we have summarized and set installation methods and pipe diameters in advance for different environments, which facilitates selection under the same conditions.

3. Installation and positioning

In order to ensure accurate measurement and stable display of the density meter, the flow velocity of the measured medium shall not exceed 1m/s, and the diameter of the pipeline for installing the density meter shall beWhen the diameter is greater than or equal to 159mm, the position where the density meter is installed should be as far away from the pump as possible, with a recommended distance of more than 5m. When the flow velocity is greater than 1 m/s, the diameter of the pipeline where the density meter is installed should be expanded by 1.5 times for every 1m increase in flow velocity. There should be a straight pipe section of ≥ 600mm in front of the instrument and a straight pipe section of ≥ 300mm behind the instrument to ensure that the fluid flows in laminar flow when passing through the fork.
