#Aluminum ingot heating relies on the aluminum ingot to transfer heat to the sample. Characteristics: Slow heating, large thermal inertia, stable temperature, and good temperature consistency between each sample well due to the good thermal conductivity of aluminum ingots. Widely used as a heat carrier in digestion furnaces, but it should also be noted that even a thin aluminum ingot cannot maintain a constant temperature. Therefore, when choosing an aluminum ingot digestion furnace, the thickness of the aluminum ingot is also an evaluation indicator.
#Graphite heating relies on the conduction of graphite to the sample volume. Characteristics: Large thermal inertia, slow heating, poor thermal conductivity of graphite (compared to aluminum ingots), resulting in uneven temperature between sample pores, which can easily lead to prolonged nitration time between samples. However, due to the low cost of graphite, graphite digestion furnaces are cheap and have a certain appeal to some low-end users.
