HART communication makes operation easy
You can use the HART communication protocol and adjust all parameters using a PC or laptop, handheld communicator, or any HART compatible process control system. This means that the measured values and transmitter parameters are transparent at any point in the signal circuit. Using process equipment management software (PDM) based on well-known Windows operations can save a lot of time regardless of user experience.
PROFIBUS-PA full digital communication users can use PROFIBUS-PA and Profile 3.0 to conduct digital communication even in dangerous areas. The PROFIBUS-PA device can control three measurement tasks: flow rate (in m3/h, etc.), liquid level (in cm, etc.), and pressure (in bar, etc.). An additional electronic current limiter can prevent bus interruption in the event of a fault (fault current>3Ma).
It can also establish connections between PDS and various FCS process control systems. In this case, the Process Equipment Manager (PDM) software can serve as a medium to facilitate easy installation and operation.
Widely used, this transmitter has intrinsic safety and explosion-proof functions, and can be used in explosive hazardous areas (Zone 1). The product has passed China NEPSI certification, and its measuring unit and electronic components have CE testing certification, meeting the European Community CENELEC standards. Remote transmitters of different design types can be used for special applications, such as measuring high viscosity, high temperature and other media. The overload test standard for differential pressure transmitters is 63MPa, and the pressure transmitter is 6 times its range. Due to its high mechanical integrity, measuring elements with a rated overload of 42MPa can withstand a pressure of 100MPa, in other words, they will not actually be damaged at all.
Materials suitable for various applications
Even when measuring extremely corrosive substances, you can find a suitable solution in the PDS smart transmitter. For transmitters that are subjected to extremely corrosive media, the isolation diaphragm is made of stainless steel, Hastelloy, tantalum, Monel alloy, titanium, or gold. Special stainless steel can also be selected for the container, and the strength of PDS will be "indestructible".

In China, PDS is certified by the Instrumentation Explosion proof Safety Supervision and Inspection Station (NEPSI).
