1、 Preliminary preparation for starting servo motor:

1. Measure insulation resistance;

2. Measure whether the power supply voltage and motor wiring meet the requirements;

3. Check if the starting equipment is in good condition;

4. Check if the fuse is intact;

5. Check if the motor is properly grounded and zeroed;

6. Check if there are any defects in the transmission device;

7. Check if the motor environment is good and free of combustibles;

2、 Siemens servo motor temperature rise too high or motor smoking fault:

Reasons: excessive load, two-phase operation, air duct blockage, high working environment temperature, stator winding short circuit or grounding, high or low power supply voltage;

Maintenance: Reduce the load, select a large capacity motor, remove the air duct, cool down, and use a multimeter to check the input power voltage;

3、 Electric sparks in the motor housing:

Reason: The stator winding is damp, the insulation material is aging, and the outgoing line collides with the junction box casing;

Maintenance: Replace the stator winding and dry it;

4、 Abnormal vibration of motor:

Reason: Unbalanced rotor, bent shaft, unbalanced pulley, uneven air gap, resulting in unilateral magnetic tension;

Maintenance: Correct the dynamic and static balance, correct or replace the shaft, and readjust the air gap;

5、 Siemens servo motor current three-phase imbalance:

Reason: The power supply voltage is severely insufficient, the three-phase turns are not equal, and the internal wiring is incorrect;

Maintenance: Check the power supply voltage, replace the motor, and calibrate the wiring;

6、 High no-load current of the motor:

Reason: Large air gap between the stator and rotor, insufficient number of turns in the stator winding, and improper assembly;

Maintenance: Reduce the air gap between the stator and rotor, recheck, upwind, and reassemble;

7、 The insulation resistance of Siemens servo motors is significantly reduced:

Reason: The stator is damp, there is too much dust, the insulation material is damaged or aged;

Maintenance: Drainage, dehumidification, ash removal, repair or replacement of insulation materials;
