The Valeport SWiFTSVP sound speed profiler uses measurement level sensor technology combined with Bluetooth communication module and rechargeable battery to achieve seamless operation. Built in GPS positioning module for geographic positioning of each profile data. Users can quickly download and view data through Bluetooth by installing SWiFTApp on the IOS system, and can send industry standard SVP format data via email or cloud server.

Users can quickly download and view data through Bluetooth by installing the SWiFT App on the IOS system, and can send industry standard SVP format data via email or cloud server. Further configuration can be done using the provided USB adapter or cable, as well as Valeport's DataLog x2 software.

In addition to directly measurable parameters such as sound velocity, temperature, and pressure, professional algorithms developed through Valeport's extensive laboratory and field experiments can be used to calculate conductivity, salinity, and density parameters.

The internal rechargeable battery has a lifespan of up to 5 days and can be charged through USB. The compact, sturdy, and portable design of SWiFT can be used for coastal, port, and inland river measurements, and can provide high-precision sound velocity profile data. Optionally, a counterweight can be added to the sensor protection cage to assist SWiFT in accurately obtaining depth profiles in rapidly flowing water.
